Vibe Coded (Programs, Video Games..) Claude opus 5.5 vs argon 4

Funny how when someone posted the video in the image below supposedly showing Argon performing much worse than Opus 5.5, it got over 2000 upvotes before mods removed it. People proved it was fake in the comments too.
Now someone shows Argon supposedly doing something better than Opus 5.5, and dude gets downvoted in the same Gemini sub. Damn, at least prove it's fake first. 😂

This sub is so fucked lol, I’m convinced it’s botted because why would people who hate Gemini so much be spending so much time hanging out in its subreddit. It’s weird

u/Thistlemanizzle 11h ago
Why would anyone even bot? I guess Chinese to dehype the west?

Competitors in the ai space? Idk but it just makes me sad to think this sub is full of people who genuinely just miserably post negatively about a model they don’t have to use all day lol

>it just makes me sad to think this sub is full of people who genuinely just miserably post negatively about a model they don’t have to use
This point exactly drives me insane. If you don't like the model go use another one, I don't understand the fixation

It's important for corporations to see whining. It's feedback.

u/Heppernaut 9h ago
Whining and bashing are different. We've long passed the point of whining to the point that this sub is no longer constructive or actionable feedback most of the time

u/68plus1equals 7h ago
How is a dozen comments that say some variation of “fake” constructive to the corporation lmao, also I promise Google is not coming to this subreddit for feedback

I don't understand how anyone even fell for that one, it's so obvious when you look at the UI, even if someone thought Argon could output such abysmal results on the gummy bears, the UI in the "Gemini" generation is clearly something that not even a 1 year old model would EVER output unless specifically prompted for it.

I love how anyone shittiing on Gemini gets upvoted and celebrated, but anyone praising Gemini is immediately accused of being fake or a shill ... in the Gemini subreddit.
Why do I even follow this sub?

u/Schuperman161616 6h ago
On the contrary, this is why I love the Gemini sub. I can't usually take the other AI subs seriously because it sounds like investor speak most of the time. While here we just really like bullying Gemini.

It's interesting how Gemini subs have almost no moderation. Stuff like this gets wiped off other subreddits. The bad part is that means Gemini subreddits are perfect for astroturfing campaigns.

They always do these hype videos.

u/Keeltoodeep 11h ago
Yeah they posted 20 of them today alone and many where opus is the clear winner. Doesn’t mean any of them are fake.

Higgsfield slop
they do the same shit with every release
Showing the last model debuffed and the new one doing it better
-2
u/tankerkiller125real 11h ago
Almost like older models get nerfed shortly after release and no longer perform at launch week benchmark levels.

Have you actually used Opus 5.5?
This video is like Flash model levels of suck.

Higgsfield is fine. Sometimes opus 5.5 performs better. In other instances, argon is better.

Idk dude, I think higgsfield is a good tool. But I also think they are scammers

u/Keeltoodeep 10h ago
They are a model agnostic AI video production company. Doesn’t mean this video is fake.

What do the scammers at Higgsfield have to do with this.

u/Professional-Fuel625 11h ago
Don't they do video generation?
So like - this would be fake generated videos?
I'm confused tbh.

These posts are Schrödingers game development man. One post shows trash by argon, the next trash by opus and we all know all these comparing posts are heavily biased bullshit guerilla marketing. Can we stop this ?

Yes and argon costs you more to use then fable So what bad comparison is this

Are model set correctly? I mean Is model not swapped?
11
u/Keeltoodeep 13h ago
This is posted on X by Higgsfield AI. They are model agnostic and don’t care what model they use themselves as long as their clients are happy with the video production result. They do these video production benchmarks every time a new model releases and are generally regarded as legitimate and unbiased.

My results have been the opposite but I'm using Argon in the Gemini app/web and it's results are worse than garbage.
Opus 5.5 on the other hand is a genius by comparison. But my Argon experience is super limited whereas I've heavily used Opus since release

This is one of the most confusing models I have ever seen. How can it be so inconsistent? One moment it's flagship SOTA beating out Opus 5.5 the next moment it's hallucinating who the president is and missing very basic and obvious things? I feel like it still really boils down to the agentic abilities just being weak with Google models but it's really hard to pinpoint still.
