For those of you who purchased a VFC AVs-74u but was disappointed by the lack of a siderail, I’ve come across an option that does not require any drilling or significant diy to install.

The AK Master Mount ™️ Side Rail Kit takes advantage of the hammer and trigger pin holes to align/hold the side rail onto the receiver. The VFC pins were very much RS spec so install was quick and easy. Recommend applying your choice of thread locker on the securing screws.

There are some videos on Youtube going over the install process on RS AKs. The majority of the steps involving moving the trigger/hammer springs out of the way can be ignored if screwdrivers are used to hold the hammer and trigger assemblies in place (untensioned). The only spring that really needs attention would be the one retaining the pins.

While this thing did cost $100 before taxes and shipping, the ease of install and the fact that it wasn’t a rear sight rail made it all worth it!

I am considering getting a VFC M4A1 or the KS-3 EVO systems, but I'm also look forward to changing the rifles to other AR varients, but I was wondering if a VFC V3 outer barrel and/or upper reciver can be installed with what looks to be a reviced hop-up system?

Hey everyone!
I recently picked up a VFC Tactical AK105, and I’ve noticed that it has a different upper and lower handguard setup, as well as a different flash hider, compared to the original AK105.
I’ve been searching online for a video or guide showing how to disassemble this particular version, but so far, I haven’t had any luck. I’m mainly looking for instructions on removing the dust cover, taking apart the upper and lower handguard system, and removing the flash hider.
This is my first AK, so I’m a little hesitant to start taking things apart without some sort of visual reference, especially since the handguard and flash hider setup seems to differ from other versions I’ve seen.
Eventually, I’d like to install a short-stroke adapter and replace the stock flash hider with a tracer unit. I’m also considering upgrading the handguard system to give me more Picatinny rail space for a magnifier to use alongside my EOTech replica, as the current rail space is pretty limited.
Does anyone happen to own this specific model, or know of a video, guide, or other reference that could help me out? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated!

I’m very, very new to GBB and airsoft guns in general. I tried looking through older threads, but didn’t really find anything similar, so decided to post. Feel free to point me towards older resources if I missed any, though.

I just unboxed my TM G17 Gen5 and racked it a few times. If I rack the slide slowly, there’s a noticeable “hump” or “block” after a couple of centimeters. It feels like it’s hitting some sort of wall within the back half of the gun. If I continue racking, it does “go through it”, but I’m not sure this is to be expected. If I rack the gun fast, I don’t really feel it.

No mag inserted, and the hump is there even when the hammer is already cocked.

I also shot it on gas, without BBs. The slide cycles fine, but a couple of times it stopped just short of going fully forward.

For comparison, my local shooting club (IPSC incl. AA) has a bunch of Umarex G17 Gen5s. If I rack them slowly, they just go through smooth. No humps, no walls, nothing.

I can try taking a video, if it helps.

Hey all, I never had this gun and have no experience with it but decided to pick one up yesterday.

I took it apart to clean and lube it but have troubles making it work 🤔

It goes together but the hammer doesn't drop and trigger won't pull all the way back, seems like something is in the way, I searched it and was reading something about misaligning and a part could flip?

I have no idea what I did but after putting it together for the hundreds of time it worked fine and the trigger could be pulled and hammer dropped BUT even with gas and bbs in the mag it would only fire the first bb and wouldn't feed any more so I disassembled it again and now I'm back to the trigger doesn't drop the hammer again 😅

It's such a simple gun internally so I feel like a idiot getting these issues, seeing it's been out for so long I thought someone here had some experience with it, maybe some tips and tricks on how to align it?

My mag has a leak, I changed the gas route but nothing changed.

When I put a CO2 shell in the mag there is a very little leak and when I press the rocket valve and release it, it gets even more bad.

Any advice ?

It’s specifically a 6mmproshop golden eagle mk18. After using a magnet on my internals, it turns out that they are steel. But my question is why does the trigger not feel that crisp? Especially the reset, it feels so off, not mushy but like a clunk instead of a crisp click.

What upgrades should I be looking at for a more crisp feeling, especially on the reset? I’ve heard springs, fcg part dimensions, even that steel itself makes it feel better, but they are steel. Anyone who has one and has done these specific types of upgrades have any info? Any help would be appreciated.

What would a reasonable selling price be for a we tech g19 be with 3 mags?

Hey all, I’m thinking about getting the APFG MCX SPEAR LT 11.5 in Tan

Unfortunately, it seems like they’re all out of stock (at least the ones that seem to deliver to the US?)

I’ve sent inquiries to a few vendors on restock expectations but I haven’t heard anything back.

It seems like the APFG version of the SPEAR LT has been around for a few years already so I’m not sure if it’s something that will ever be restocked.

Does anyone know if these guns ever get restocked?

(I saw a Salvo version come available on Octagon but my sights have been set on the APFG version)

I'm planning on trading my KWA for a CGS, and I just want to get this question outta the way before sinking too much money into an issue that could've been prevented (Something I've had happen to me with my past 3 gas replicas)

I have the EMG DE Noveske N4, recently got a backup AEG and it’s got an awesome barrel on it but… AEG can’t compete with GBBR so I wanted to “upgrade” my gbbr but unsure how or what is compatible with the N4. At the moment I have the perfect CQB setup but I’d like to have the option to quick swap the upper so I can have a DMR or something a little longer for outdoor play, like an upper with a 13.5inch barrel. As I don’t want to buy another rifle and might workout cheaper as well.

What are some good uppers that are compatible with the N4 lower and what outer barrels ans hand guards can I get to go along with it.
