Hi all,

I’m hoping someone can direct me to a business that might be able to help with a 3DS XL refurb?

I’m looking to replace the whole shell (well loved) the buttons (worn) and also the screens (bit yellow).

Has anyone had an experience in Australia that worked for them in doing this?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Wanting to get my hands on one hopefully this month without paying the scum scalpers. Any tips for those of you who got lucky during this surge?

P.S. - Before anyone jumps to criticise, I believe I've earned the right as an adult to spend my money as I choose. I've been wanting to upgrade for a while but now have the financial means to do so.

Need some advice. My build:

• AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
• Phanteks Polar ST5 D-RBG CPU Cooler
• MSI B550M Pro-VDH WiFi Motherboard
• ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Challenger 16GB GDDR6
• Team T-Force Delta RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz CL16 DDR4 Black
• Team T-Force Z44A7Q NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD 2TB
• Kolink Regulator Gold ATX 3.0 1000W Power Supply

I use Linux, and game - Modded Minecraft, Single-Player games, and Indie. Very rarely anything bigger - But would like to be able to play them at a reasonable fps and resoulotion

I'm buying from PC Case Gear and it's a customized prebuild!

Don't know much about computers but wanting to build one suitable for gaming. Around 2.5k any suggestions?

Cool little story about a Discord server founder and COD partner who who was threatened with a defamation lawsuit. Anyone else had any crazy experiences in/from a discord?

New to PlayStation. Keen to play GTA6 when it comes out. BigW seems to have decent prices. Is there any difference between these consoles? I dont care about Fortnite but would it be stupid not to buy the bundle?

Hey I just got messed around by Nebula for a good few months and I’m finally gonna get refunded. What are some more trustworthy and quality companies for prebuilt PC’s?

Hey all, I am planning to pre-order GTA 6 from JB which I will upgrade later to Ultimate Edition. Can anyone let me know if I collect my game from JB after 19th November, would I still be able to claim the pre-order perk?

Thanks!

Edit: I am ordering from JB to get the Physical Case

Hi everyone, we're LVLUP Gaming — an Australian trading card, collectables and gaming business based in Melbourne.

We're putting our own time and money into getting tournaments organised. We want the business to give people more chances to compete and support the players and creators involved.

We're recruiting players for competitive and community tournaments in Melbourne, and online competition across Australia. Whether you've competed before or want to enter your first tournament, we want to hear from you.

What game would you actually sign up to compete in? That's what we'd like to hear from you. PC gaming, trading card games and miniature/tabletop games are all part of what we're looking at.

Tell us your game and city, and the kind of tournament you'd enter. A one-day event? A league you can play in over several weeks? Online or in person? If your game rarely gets a tournament near you, we'd like to know. Your replies will help us choose what to organise first.

We're recruiting players and teams now. We're also looking for streamers, casters and organisers who want to help run or cover the tournaments. If you'd like to be involved, tell us what you play or do. Player, team and creator sponsorship applications are open too.

More about us and how to get involved: LVLUP Gaming — tournaments and sponsorship. You can also follow @lvlupgamingau on Instagram for tournament announcements, recruitment updates and gaming/collecting posts.

Ever since this bs age verification came into effect, I’ve been attempting to verify my age on my PlayStation account via their yoti service. However, there are only two options, facial scan, and id check. Facial scan straight up doesn’t work for me (I’m only 20 and have a relatively young face), while the id scan (something I wish I didn’t have to do) just leads me to a screen saying “Your age check is being processed,” weeks later, I have had no updates, and the prompt is still appearing in the PlayStation app, and on my console, so I assume it hasn’t been successful. Has anyone been able to verify their age, and how did you do it? I’d like to get this handled before GTA 6.

best and safest place to buy cheap playstation 5 console?

JB Hi-Fi is taking orders for the PS5 Pro. Website says expected delivery is by "late October".

They are currently out of stock Australia wide and are being scalped and sold online for $100s more than retail, so I would take the opportunity to secure one for Christmas/GTA VI now if you are looking.

Never give in to scalpers!

over the last 2 months, I've been working consistently on the mechanics and physics of a new (no team/no player model) AFL game, i want to use AI ( i hate ai but its taking my job so im buying into it) to help solve the super complex physic issues in the game of AFL, the current afl games irritate me to the extent ive decided to use my job to try do better, they also didnt have ai (like astra) to solve issues, we are however stumped on the camera, it seems to be the roadblock to all physics and movement, has anyone played the afl games and alway had a brilliant idea awith the camera, especially if we can keep it static and hold it still

So I've been mainly gaming on PC for the last 10 years, partly built a desktop to do side projects for future career jobs. I've enjoyed quite a lot of games such as Baldur's Gate 3, Witcher 3, Hades, Deep Rock Galactic, and Half Life. During some recent outside events I attended, I keep running into fans of Nintendo games, particularly all the Switch ones. Also have some friends that either don't play video games, don't own a switch, and even play on PC like me. I still like to play on my Wii, PS3 and N64 (with some retro games i always wanted to finish) but wasn't sure if it was worth getting a Switch to see what the big deal is or if its worth forking over $500 for another console, maybe wait for a black friday sale. I do have a full time job that is mainly on a computer screen but still enjoy watching shows or gaming on the couch too. Then there is the social part, I rarely ever play console games with other people these days and just play co op online with others on PC, or at arcades at local events. So while I'm decently happy with the games I got is it worth it for someone in my shoes to get a Switch or 2, with at least a handful of games i might have time to play?

My petition has finally been approved. Getting more than 50 VALID signatures will ensure it is presented to Parliament.

The more signatures the better but please keep in mind that all signatories must be in Australia. While I appreciate others from outside Australia will want to sign, please do not provide invalid signatures.
