At this stage I have 42 cd keys that are out of stock. They range from the end of 2025 to the oldest being the beginning of 2023. Humble Bundle support offers a singular page "Keys are Temporarily Exhausted and Delayed Delivery Errors". It states that "Customer Support cannot speed up the key exhaustion process or provide any estimates on when a key may be available."

The same page also states that "Similar to all other products and offerings, we will work to obtain more keys for your order, even if keys were exhausted prior to your order being placed. Please take note of any special callouts below the exhausted key, such as expiration dates or other important information, as some titles may not be refilled if they expired."

These keys are now in a quasi-dead state. Schrodinger's Redemption Codes if you will. I have no ETA on when they will be available or if they ever will be available. Meanwhile these codes are now on a timer to when they can just outright expire and then Humble has no obligation to give me the key at all as I have had happen with several keys already when I contacted support.

Contacted support about some that have expired while waiting and they informed me they won't provide keys for expired product. How is this acceptable?

Recently they added new dlc and locked a lot of things behind paywall including item crafting , skills , skill points and paragon points so unless you want to drop another 40euro for the DLC the base game is not worth your time. Without the dlcs you also cant get guides for builds online because every guide assume you can use the p2w features

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I'd appreciate some advice and guidance. So for context, I'm a huge Dragon Ball Z fan. I've been watching it before I could even properly speak, and pretty much all of Dragon Ball Z games have always been region blocked in many South Asian countries by Bandai Namco, which is honestly just awful and a slap to genuine fans in these countries. So what I'm wondering is that if I buy a steam key for Dragon Ball Xenoverse from a site like Loaded or Fanatical and I see it mentioned on their page that the product can be activated in my country, should I go for it or will it just not activate because those games are restricted here?

I know Fanatical is a fully legitimate site and that they are partners or in contracts with the devs of the games that they sell, but the Loaded option is cheaper, cuz I wanna buy the Season Pass with it as well.

So please let me know what I should do. Both links are down here. I would appreciate any help in this decision.

I run Game Bundle Guardian, a site that scores bundles based on an algorithm which considers bundle price, year low game prices,  game popularity and Steam review score.

I often get asked why a particular bundle got the score it did, and I keep tweaking the formula. But before I change it once again, I decided to test scores by buying the top rated bundle each week, playing all the games and rating it based on my personal opinion instead of hard data.

I started with the best rated bundle from the last week: War Child Charity Bundle. The algorithm really likes cheap bundles so 11 games for $7.99 scored a high 7.2 / 10.

I tried out all the games but liked only 3: A Space for the Unbound, Production Line and This War of Mine. Buying them separately would cost around $14 so it's not a bad deal - I give it 6.5 / 10.

Do you agree with the human or the algorithm? How would you rate this bundle?

Why do keys expire? What bit of info am I missing?

If I purchase a game and I receive the key for the game, the purchase is complete, and I own the game on the select platform. What difference does it make if the key is redeemed immediately or held onto for a while?

It doesn't require storage space or labor like if I purchased a car or appliance and delayed picking it up. What am I missing?

If you tried to claim a game and the keys are exhausted it will say claimed even after expiration and you might forget, thinking you didn't redeem the key.

I just realized after kicking myself for thinking I let some games I wanted expire but turns out I did my due diligence.

Has anyone received a key replenishment email from Humble before? I've been scraping through my years of emails and haven't come across any.

I understand "Redeem the keys day one" but that's unrealistic for a lot of people and should never be required.

keep trading for the bundle in its posts comments and not here, just making this post so people are aware, especially the 2nd set of additions that happened over a week after the bundle launched people may have missed.

Just a quick question to ask many people, how long should I wait to buy it again for a better chance to get new keys? Or should I just wait for the next one?

I'll be honest I buy this thing for the random games I get in it (if I ever get a star prize that's just a mega win for me), and I just had a bundle where only 3 of the weren't dupes for me.

So I'm just wondering if it's better to wait a few days/week or for the next Mystery Bundle completely.

I didn’t know steam code trading from bundles was a thing but I saw someone mention it and now I’m intrigued. What’s the safest way to do it?

I saw communities like barter, steam trade, and less but they all seem to require steam sign in which I don’t want to do. I think they say they do it verify legitimacy but I don’t want to link my account to anything. Especially when I don’t know if it’ll unlink.

Is there any other community where I can make an account via email?
