Troubleshooting Gameboy Pocket Fix

I picked up this Game Boy Pocket for around $3, but the motherboard is missing one of the battery contacts, and the ones in the shell are stuck in place and have some corrosion on them. How can I replace them? I know I could probably just replace the back shell, but I’d rather keep the original one if possible.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated:p

You should be able to buy a replacement for that piece on eBay, and often times it comes with the connector for the one in the back too. Replace those and go from there

Solder a new battery spring. If you want to test it first, use an AC adapter.
