Troubleshooting Need advice for fixing a broken screw post on Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand

Post image

hello! today I got Boktai for the Gameboy advance and the first thing I did was replace the batter, however one I screwed the screw back in the plastic on the shell turned out to be brittle and the screw post broke! Does anyone know of any good quality replacement shells or a way to repair it? thanks!

Here’s what I did for my GBC games with broken shells: put the board in and tape the halves together

If the board doesn’t fit, a little bit of tape on the back side of the board will help.

It’s a temporary fix, I got new shells for my GBC games

My Pokémon Crystal is like this. Probably worse since the screw hole in GBC carts holds the PCB in the right spot. I have a loop of tape behind the PCB to hold it, and then the cartridge glued shut. You can also use tape but glue gives a cleaner look. Just keep it to just a dot or two or it'll be very difficult if you need to open it later, and it only needs to hold it enough to stop it sliding, not to stop it coming apart.
