A shame I already own everything here but the price is decent.
Keep in mind that Darksiders III has DLC and the complete the set bundle on Steam is a bit fucky. It has two gameplay DLCs, and the Steam bundle is set up to charge you more unless you buy the "Digital Extras" DLC, which includes the three DLCs (two gameplay, one soundtrack.) So once you get this, wait for a sale on the Digital Extras DLC.

II is really fucking good, a mashup of Zelda, Prince of Persia and God of War.

I'm twelve hours into Genesis on my Steam Deck, and I've really enjoyed it so far.
I am tempted to purchase it for the other three in the series.

The historic lows for the first three is about $8.50 and the 3-month low is very similar. You might be able to save $1.50 watching all three games across multiple stores for months waiting on individual sales. Or for $10 get them all, and a Genesis key to give away to a friend. It's a great deal.
I liked 1 and 2, never got around to 3. When I played 1 it was on the original release (XBox 360 maybe?) and not the remaster, but I'm pretty sure it was all visual updates.

How does Darksiders Genesis compare to Darksiders Super Nintendo?

I think you mean Darksiders Genesis vs Darksiders NES.

No, NES equivalent would be the Master System (8bits). Genesis/Megadrive = Super Nintendo (16 bits)

What a great deal, buy this if you like action adventure games with a heavy Zelda 64 influence, progression through equipment upgrades, semi open world exploration, dungeons, etc. Genesis is different, more like a top down action game, but still good.

I played them all roughly when they came out.
Darksiders 1 was basically a zelda game. Darksiders 2 felt more like a combination of a watered down Zelda crossed with a sort of open world game with lots of big areas to explore with little secrets sprinkled throughout, and loot tables. Darksiders 3 borrowed more from dark souls than anything else, while genesis is a twin stick shooter level-based action RPG.
Despite all of the games having very different inspirations in terms of the overall progression and game layout, there's something about them all that feels cohesive.
I personally enjoyed 1 and 3 the most, and couldn't really get into 2 or Genesis in my first playthroughs. I tried coming back to 2 and genesis recently, genesis I just got frustrated by and the version of 2 I have didn't really run on a modern system, so I gave up on it. I assume the deathinitive edition still works if they are still selling it.

Seems like no regional price on this one. In fact, it's like 20% worse than just doing a dollar conversion. I would've bought it if they didn't fuck with my region for no reason.

Wierd, it says $9.99 (USD I presume) here but it's $17 CAD for me - am I missing something or did the regional pricing go up a lot higher?

13-year-old me would have loved this bundle. Old man me can give this one a pass. Anyone with reflexes and time should jump on it, though.

Really decent price for a solid collection of games. The best is still the first for me but at this price it really is a no-brainer if you like action games.

I started the Warmastered Edition and didn’t really love it…does the series get better from there?

Each game is different, so it's tough to say if it gets better, because it depends strictly on what style of games you like, and what you didn't like about the first Darksiders game. All of them share the more exaggerated cartoony artstyle. Each game lets you play with a different rider.
2 is sort of like the first one, but more open and with faster combat and more RPG mechanics (like tons of gear drops)
3 is very linear and with slower, more reactive combat (came out after Dark Souls became huge)
Genesis is an isometric twin-stick action game (primarily a shooter, depending on which character you'll prefer playing as).
The only one I didn't like was 3, because it felt too slow. I liked the remaining games quite a lot, and Genesis is probably my favorite in the series, despite it practically being a side game.

100% agree, the entire series bounces from genre to genre with the closest analog for each being 1) God of War-esque, 2) Zelda-esque, 3) Dark Souls-like, Genesis) Torchlight/Diablo-ish.
The story is end times, apocalyptic, angels vs demons, and that stays the same throughout the series. Quite good. You can just choose which styles you love to play, because they each play pretty differently.
I highly recommend Genesis for the Steam Deck (or other handheld or a controller), as it became a favorite for how smooth it plays…with 2 being the hardest for me personally to complete, no fault of he game I just get sidetracked easily and there were a lot of places to explore. The pacing in 3 was very well balanced, but the protagonist Fury starts out nowhere near as interesting or entertaining as War or Death, nor as funny/quippy as Strife. If you can get past her being annoying, I will say her moveset and gameplay is unquestionably fun and I did have a blast with her razor whip. The 1st has maybe the best story and the most important character (War) but the gameplay itself has aged a bit — I played the Warmastered Edition in 2016 when it dropped, and it was better than original, but it still had some bugs. Not game ruining, but had to Alt+F4 a couple times. Still enjoyable though.
The franchise is a solid 8/10 across the board, definitely recommend if you enjoy the subject matter and don’t mind changing gameplay genres.
