For some reason, the real time translation via the camera no longer works. However, when I take a photo, I can then see the translation.

So the pink line error finally happened to me... Unfortunately I'm not eligible for the three year free screen replacement Samsung offered in India either. Getting an OLED screen replacement is about 5k cheaper than the original AMOLED should I go for it? Will the difference in quality be noticeable?

Did anyone buy a Samsung S23 at 26k in BBD?

I've been a Samsung user for over a decade. Over the years, it feels like Samsung is falling behind the competition on the native wallpaper/lockscreen game.
To give more clarity, the wallpapers themselves are alright, but the way in which it looks on the lockscreen with the clock and some widgets need a lot of catching up to do. I could give a long list of phones that have lock screens far more "appealing" and "aesthetic".
On the functionality front, yes, i appreciate lock screen widgets and the customisation. I feel that there is a lot of room for improvement on this front.
Now I'm expecting some of you would right up say "use RegiStar and GoodLock". For me, that's way too much work for a lockscreen. I would expect all that and more natively supported. Plus, a lot of the stuff on GoodLock is just cartoonish stuff, not the ones that make the lockscreen look more elegant.
Anyone with me in this one? I would love to hear from the community.

Peguei o carregador do iPhone 17 original do meu namorado e coloquei e funcionou.

I don't use a screen guard and due to usage, my screen has a lot of scratches. Am I still eligible for the free service?

Hi everyone!
I recently purchased a secondhand base Galaxy S23 (256GB, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Hong Kong variant SM-S9110), and I've been trying to determine whether its battery performance is normal.
I really like the phone, especially its performance, compact size, and cameras. However, I'm a little concerned about the battery life.
Here are my observations so far:
Latest battery test:
On an earlier cycle, I also recorded approximately 3 hours and 57 minutes of screen-on time from 100% down to 2%.
Samsung currently estimates around 15 hours of total endurance from a 95% charge, although I understand this is based on usage patterns and isn't the same as screen-on time.
I also tried AccuBattery, which initially estimated 69% battery health, but that was based on only one charging session, so I don't consider it reliable yet.
My questions:
I'd really appreciate feedback from other S23 owners, particularly anyone still using the original battery or who has recently replaced it.
Thanks in advance!

Having some weird battery related issues since a recent update. If I am using my phone the battery seems to work as expected, not as good as new but it's reasonable.
But when I am not using my phone I sometimes get severe battery drain. This morning with only about 30 minutes use of the phone it's gone from 100% to 45% in about 3 hours. I get these random severe drops not every day but maybe every other day and only when I'm not using the phone.
When I use the phone more throughout the day the battery seems to last a whole day, but any day when I am not using my phone and it's just sitting on my desk then I will notice the battery significantly draining rapidly.
Any suggestions to trouble shoot this issue? Only started after a recent software update on the phone, but how can I check if this is causing the issue or if the battery is maybe dying?

I using my lovely S23 and its awesome, now after recent updates, the phone sometimes hangs due to multiple apps working and as usual the battery backup is very poor.
The main thing about S series is smoothness and One UI and the ability of Bixby routines.
I was checking other phones and oppo seems to do very well in terms of every parameters except for the routines parts.
My main reason for wanting to shift to other brand is due to the battery samsung provides. What is the reason for Samsung not wanting to provide a good battery?

Hey everyone, I’m having a serious issue with my Samsung Galaxy S23 and I’m hoping someone here might be able to help.
I usually keep my Samsung phones for around 6 years before upgrading because they work perfectly fine for me for that long. I’ve had my S23 for 3 years now, and suddenly, over the past 2–3 weeks, the battery life has become absolutely HORRIBLE.
I really noticed it when I was in a city far away from home that I’d never been to before. I was relying entirely on Google Maps to get around, and at one point, I realized my battery was so low that my phone might die before I could even find my way to the train station. I was literally walking there, trying to enter my destination into Google Maps, only to realize that my phone probably wouldn’t even last long enough to get me there.
I ended up having to rely on my memory and somehow figure out the way myself. Thankfully, I made it to the station, but the whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and honestly just ridiculous.
Has anyone else been experiencing this? Surely there must be a solution other than just buying a whole new phone after 3 years?!
I genuinely LOVE this phone, and the camera is phenomenal, but the battery situation is seriously worrying me. I can't afford a new phone right now, and I’m pretty sure this all started after a software update. I honestly regret updating it so much.
I’m not against software updates at all. Obviously, I want my phone to stay up to date and benefit from new features and security improvements. But if an update ends up ruining the battery life to this extent, that’s just unacceptable.
I’ve already watched several YouTube videos looking for a fix, but all I keep finding are the usual suggestions: lower your screen brightness, restrict background activity for certain apps, and so on. Nothing particularly helpful, and nothing that seems to address the actual problem.
Has anyone found a REAL solution to this? Is there anything else I can try, or is this just what happens after certain updates? I’d be incredibly grateful for any advice because I really don’t want to replace a phone that I otherwise absolutely love.

This is a long shot, I know. But if you're in Bangalore or India, and you have some S23 cases lying around and would give them away for free or at a nominal rate, I'd love to have them.
I'm not sure about accessories but you can share details about those too. Mainly I need cases. A DAC could be useful too.
TIA.

I got a new Galaxy S23+ and transfer my stuff over from the old Galaxy phone. Now some apps will give me network errors. I'll start them up and try to log in and they'll give me a message stating to check the network or a generic network error. Some apps work fine. This happens on WiFi and data.
I've reinstalled the apps, cleared the data and the cache, and no luck. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Edit: so weird, the fix was that I didn't have automatic date and time selected. Even though it had the correct date and time, since that wasn't selected some apps wouldn't connect to the network correctly.

Hey, I was planning to buy S23 as it showing around 27k something but its always seems to be out of stock ...but it shows few pieces left does it mean it will come into stock soon ?or is it just a glitch ? i am planning to buy a mobile ..they are so costly ..spending 20-30k i dont feel any mobile is doing justification for that price range ..
please let me know recommended mobiles under that range ...
My preference is camera its fine to be average but mobile need to be smooth and fast ...battery even if it has lower capacity its works for me ..just if processor is good i dont mind any other details ..if possible amoled display
moto edge 70 fusion seems to be good but i already had a bad experience with motorola service center ...so other brands
if s23 be available soon i would wait for it even oneplus ce5 if it comes around 25k i will get it
let me know your opinion on it

S23 confuses me at times because the SIM ejection hole is right beside two other ones (the mics around the USB). I was tired today and I didn't realize that for some 10 seconds I had been trying to poke the mic to get the SIM out.
I tested a few calls and voice recordings and the mic seems to be fine, but I just wanna know.
TIA.

I did the S23 Ultra for a few years now. Tbh not my favorite phone. Loved the Note 10. That was the pinnacle for me. I find this phone too big for me.
Not sure if I go with Fold 8 or something else.
What are you all looking at post s23 life?
