Is this worth it? Major issues to look for?

Was out getting gas and when I went to pull it the whole thing fell off lucky it mange to open and I got a full tank but now im stuck with it not opening so I was just wondering if anyone has any advice for removing this would be much appreciated

Hi I hope someone can help me find the name of this part for the power steering reservoir system. It has a small leak and I want to replace it. If someone can give me the actual name of the part it’d be a great help thank you. FYI it’s for a 1999 GS300

Should I re badge her? I was thinking of just putting the L logo in the middle but im not sure. Or maybe all 3. I have a 430 which is cool since not many people have the V8, but thats also kind of why i want to leave it debadged. people roll up next to me expecting it to be slow until i fly away and its very clearly a V8 just from the sound. I kind of like the surprise of it but also i really like the look of badges. LMK!

will +45 offset 19x9 rim and 255/40 tires fit without rubbing? it is slightly lowered but i have about an inch of clearance with current 235/45/18 set up

Just purchased a couple days ago. 99 GS 300 with 169k miles. I am the 4th owner. Original owner sold it last year and he made a number modifications below. Came with a stack of maintenance records. From Lexus alone the service history is 38 pages long.
LMS supercharger (installed on 2009)
Custom shifter trim with AFR and Boost gauge
BC coilovers
Tein front and rear strut bars
TRD sway bar front and rear
LS 400 front brakes
Fujitsu exhaust
Enkei 18” GTC02 with 245 fronts and 285 rears

Needs some TLC but everything works. I would like to do a manual swap.

do anyone know the name of this gasket or part number ? i cant find anywhere, my oem is cracked and causing a huge air leak

So I have dealt with the classic B2798 code for a while now. It has come and gone at times, but more recently has become permanent. We made a road trip and had fuel pump problems, and after replacing that we ended up not ever getting the car started again.

Here is a list of things that I've done (some of these following the DTC troubleshooting list):

1. Bought another fresh key before it completely shut down and had it added as a master key in the ECU.

2. Tested continuity of the transponder key antenna. Checked out good.

3. Verified continuity from the pins on the amplifier to the pins on the ECM. It had continuity and seemed to be low resistance.

4. Replaced the key amplifier with used ones, going through up to 5 amplifiers and key coils.

5. Dug into forums and found out how to replace/virginize the IC900 chip.

6. Found 3 separate ECUs from local yards and virginized the chips. In the hex I've replaced it with all 0's (except valet lockout) and it never enters programming mode. Tried multiple methods to enter programming mode.

7. Tried copying original ECU's hex onto both a manufacturer chip and brand new chips.

8. Tried bypassing the wiring to go directly to the ECM from the immobilizer.

Short of sending the ECU off or buying another one, which seemed to be the consensus regarding immobilizer problems, I have hit a wall. I looked over the capacitors to see if that was the issue, but they all seem in good shape (on all 3 boards).

Unless the HEX is incorrect (the virginized one is not pictured), I have no clue where to turn and don't think spending multiple hundreds on a "what if" for it to not fix the problem is my best idea. Does anyone have any further insight, or just "suck it up and do it?"

I need suggestion & advice from who personally drive Lexus GS 3rd Generation from already 2006 to 2011 model. ( main my needs requirements is powerfull Acceleration , sometimes power slides when leaving friends party etc, burnout with power slide. While driving overtaking someone with power slide the car. I need power full car . When i press full gas paddle i want driver and passenger will feel the power tourq while sitting in the car. I live in saudi arabia the weather is hot whole year. We have too much ls430 and ls460 for engines here. I need in GS something powerfull my duty way is one side free but signals but when i return from office i got a traffic stop and run also. I need GS 350 or Gs430 or Gs 460 because its a mid size car and i have family also.

I already have 2007 GS350 V6 AWD which is AWD (2GR-FSE) i canceled front excels & front drive shaft its totally now RWD but i lose too much money on it to make the car perfect. 2 years almost i pay for repairing & parts after i tired i sold the car to somone. (I live in saudi arabia the car is imported from USA or From Canada)

In 1 year exact i overall 4 engines & 5th one i install clean 2GR imported from dubai. 1 time overall gear. 2 times complete A/C work with replacing ac compressor. Every month i almost pay on car 5% of price of the car or sometimes 10% sometime more.

Fuel Mileage is very poor full tank is giving me 250 kilometers range or 300km range 95 Octane i fill the fuel always until its comes out and falls down from the refil pipe. (155 miles to 186 miles on full tank) V6 2GR rwd engine gs 350.

I will make the story short now after i install last engine which is too much clean and neat silver from insdie never open which is still in a car. But my luck its a Hybrid lexus 450H engine the mechanic installed for me after 6 months later i check the serial number of every parts its Hybrid engine parts he also refused to replace. Its 2gr same shape. The main thing (i lost acceleration power) because the VVTI valve gear intake system is totally different opening time & shape piston is different shape.

Now i want to buy clean Lexus 3rd Generation which one i choose that time clean GS350, GS430, GS460 ?

Sorry for my English guys. Suggest me a powerfull engine gear car which if i abuse the car it will handle my driving style without broken anything. I told you the GS350 which i have is giving poor milage so if i got V8 i think it will gives me better mileage then this gs350 2007.

My buddies and I accidentally messed up the timing on the 2JZ GE. I thought we got it back by adjusting the cams to the position. But after giving it a few turns I’m off. Any help? I tried searching for a few days online but no luck. Engines put back together, but that’s what the cams looked like before adjusting them. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the after. Reason for moving is that the vvti gear was not locked but the cam moved as we loosened to replace the gasket that was leaking. Thanks for any help. (It moved past what it moves normally)

Hi guys, having recently completed all the work on my Aristo (8hp, FMIC, 1000cc injectors, DBW, etc) I am looking to get some winter wheels. I've seen a set but they're ET35 all round - my current setup is staggered (19" Work Emotion D9R - ET30 and ET38) Has anyone got any pics of theirs with ET35 all round, and what tyre profile did you go with? So I just obtained a Sc300 radiator along with a aftermarket trans cooler and was wondering what would be the easiest route to run it in my 98 GS300 would prefer to avoid using a welder since I do not have one
