Help my 33-year-old son enter a 1-year inpatient rehab

Hi everyone

I am a mother from South Africa reaching out to this community to share my 33-year-old son Jay’s 1-year inpatient recovery journey at Project Purpose (Zebulun Centre).

Ten years ago, our family suffered a devastating tragedy when I lost my eldest son and Jay's brother, Keagan, to suicide. Jay spiraled heavily into addiction to cope with that deep trauma. After a heartbreaking 10-year battle, he finally reached a turning point, broke down, and begged for help. He is safely inside the facility right now!

His counselor just let me know that Jay is settling in beautifully, has a wonderful empathetic nature, and is in a truly positive, grateful headspace. He is working hard on DBT skills to manage his anxiety and tackling his written assignments honestly.

We still have a long road ahead to cover his R12,000 ($685 USD) monthly treatment costs for the full year. If you can find it in your heart to donate or simply hit the share button to help a desperate mother save her only surviving son, it would mean the world to our family.

Thanks for your time and consideration 💜💜

I’m trying to find a way forward while living with chronic illnesses

I'm sharing my story here because, honestly, I don't know what else to do, and I'm hoping that by reaching more people, my situation might finally change.

I live with several chronic health conditions, including Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), post-concussion syndrome, PTSD, anxiety, depression, endometriosis and adenomyosis. These conditions affect my everyday life in different ways, and trying to manage them while keeping up with financial responsibilities has become incredibly difficult.

Right now, I'm working two jobs because I need the income to cover my expenses and pay down my debts. But the reality is that working this much is difficult to sustain with my health. I want to be able to take better care of myself, give my body time to recover and have a life that isn't entirely about working and trying to keep my head above water.

At the same time, I can't simply stop working. My financial commitments don't disappear because I'm unwell. That is the cycle I'm trying so hard to break.

I created this fundraiser to help reduce some of my debt and financial pressure, with the hope of eventually being able to reduce my working hours and focus more on my health. I'm not expecting anyone to solve all my problems, but even a little help could make a difference.

Asking strangers for help is not easy for me. I know everyone has their own struggles, and I don't take anyone's generosity for granted. But I also know that if I never share my story, nobody who might be willing to help will have the opportunity to find it.

If you've read this far, thank you. If you're able to donate or share my fundraiser, I would be genuinely grateful. And if you can't, simply taking the time to read my story means something to me, too.

I'm trying to give myself a chance to build a life that is more manageable with my health, rather than constantly pushing myself beyond what I can sustain.

Need help please

Hello, I am a Palestinian refugee living in Lebanon, and I have launched a Fundahope campaign to help with my medical needs and recovery.

I am struggling to promote my campaign because many groups remove my posts. I am looking for volunteers who could share my campaign with their social media networks or help me reach potential donors.

I would be very grateful for any help. You would only need to share my campaign link.

Thank you for your kindness and support.

Hello everyone, my name is Luis, and I started a GoFundMe for my uncle who was recently detained by ICE. My uncle Antonio is NOT a violent offender his only crime has been parking tickets and still he is the most hard-working man I know and I strive to be even a little of the man he is. Antonio is not only a father figure to me but to my whole family. His partner is 8 months pregnant, and he has a 1.5-year-old son waiting for him at home. Any support would be greatly appreciated including just sharing my link.Hello everyone, my name is Luis, and I started a GoFundMe for my uncle who was recently detained by ICE.
