Hi all 😃 Fugazi is my boyfriends favourite band , I know they don't do merch or anything like that but can anybody suggest something I could get him for Xmas? He has all the records etc but I'd like to get him something special as its our first Xmas together and I want it to be memorable 😄

I am hoping this is the year Fugazi releases a surprise Halloween album. I do not think many of us fans would ever see it coming, that this is what they would reunite for. It could be as novelty or horror as they want, or a blend of different halloween song styles. Like they don't have to call it Fughouliez or anything silly, but they could if they want to. I just honestly think their musicianship would make for a phenomenal halloween album, and it could be a low-stakes fun project that they toss off in a week for fun. It could have vocals or not, but should probably have a theremin at some point, at least a little bit. And it could just be a side project and not even "canon", (if that is even a concept that applies to bands).

Found this in a punk rock/record store in Tokyo. Actually looked like someone’s made an effort, with the font, the colourway, etc. maybe it’s a throwback to Guy in the hoop?

I'm a big fan of Fugazi and Jem Cohen. Recently I finally found the time to watch the DVD version of Instrument and I loved it a lot, but I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't any version in HD. I heard there was a higher-quality version streaming on Criterion, Amazon and Apple TV, but it's not available where I live (Portugal). I also tried buying it on Amazon but it wouldn't let me either.

Does anyone know any solutions to this? Thanks.

I’m trying to figure out Guy Picciotto’s guitar part in Fugazi’s “Turnover,” but I can’t really make it out clearly even after listening to both the studio recording and live performances.

Ian seems to be playing octaves, but Guy sounds like he’s playing regular chords. Does anyone know what chords or voicings Guy is playing?

Found this to be really interesting. Some of Gross's audiobooks get a little self-indulgent as if he's more interested in name-dropping and showing that he's "in the know," but this one comes across as sincere and insightful, well worth the listen.

Was sorting my records and actually took a photo of all the albums together. I also have the Furniture 7”, just need the 3 Songs 7”. I also have all of these on CD packed away. Some of these copies would be close to 30 years old now.

Besides Fugazi, I think Shellac, Ten Grand / The Vidablue and My Disco are the only other bands where I pretty much have their whole discography on vinyl.

I missed when all these love shows appeared on spotify, does anyone know the story of why?

What are ya all's opinions on Bootleg Fugazi Tees & other Merchandise? OFC there was the Infamous 'THIS IS NOT A FUGAZI T SHIRT' which the band approved of, but what do you guys think about other Bootlegged Merch, are they valid? Should Fugazi have sold their own Merch from the beginning?

I saw this photo of Guy playing a Gibson from 1995 at a show in New York. This is some nerd business, but I've never seen him play anything but the Rickenbacker 330's with the exception of the very early days of him joining the band.

I believe he played a Gibson Les Paul Jr for a short period of time, but stuck to the Rickenbacker's after the 80's... At least until I saw this photo.

Has anyone else had the same pleasant surprise?
