A full English patch of Front Mission Alternative has now been released!

The entire game, sans the credits, is now translated.

Ive been playing through front mission 3 on a modded vita and it really is a life imitates art with this little tidbit of geopolitics.

I love FM3 and I've played it many times, but i almost always end up missing a LOT of network addresses by the end of my runs despite trying to talk to every possible NPC at least twice. Like in my current Alisa raute run i apparently missed PAPEL.

Is there like a list of "important" NPCs to talk to? I only see them listed as part of full walkthroughs and i hate playing with these :/

Idk anything about front mission but I just noticed remakes are on sale on steam right now. Are they, uhh, scams? If not which one should I buy?

There are a lot of Wanzers that I have never seen before in FM2....I wa grinding cash via Arena using Shackal-Mythos build

Anyone know what Wanzer this is and where can I get one??

When I first played the game, I got an all-white camouflage called "Lynn White." I don't remember where—the only thing I recall is that I was with Barguest before the snow missions. Does anyone know how to get that camo? I've searched everywhere and haven't found anyone talking about it, or about the "Glen Blue" camo either. (In case you didn't know, you can get Glen Blue after Mission 15; just talk to Collins—the guy you speak to when you want to manage or buy skills—in the Pilot's Ready Room.)

Managed to finish up the multiplayer in less than a week and only 16 hours of boosting!

I honestly have no idea what I gotta do to clear this stage, I mean I know I gotta defeat Van's tank thing but inbetween me and him are swarms of long ranged machines that I can't really maneuver around or fight with just 4 people, by the 4th turn the mission is typically a lost cause.

I've gotten that one secret wanzer part thing from the germany email thing which kinda helps but not really enough because the arms are melee based and neither of Ash, Joyce, Amia, or Pike are melee people, those three Helicopters don't really do too much either.

Are there any other secret parts that I'm missing out on? gamefaq guides have helped but they aren't really enough, when i go on youtube I see people either playing on easy (i'm on normal) or people with HP pools in the 700's which is way higher than the 250's that everyone has, well except Ash who has 650 due to those parts. I eventually managed to figure out how to beat 1 and 3 with little help if any but 2 seems like a completely different beast.

I think it's pretty unique and interesting. I discovered it from a youtube video about terrible game music. Especially the track Rock is so good.

So I want to get Mythos B and Schakal B on the original FM2

I use a patched translation with a fanmade translation patch that was submitted in this forum (the one where the guy uses Google Translate for the most part to translate)

So I was inputting ING then INCISE, managed to write INTGEHEN in under 1000 miliseconds and all, but it just shows warning, Information Level 2 and when I click it just throws me back here, is this a bug?

Just bought the remake with 60% discount (would gladly buy it with full price and higher if at least the models of wanzers were done properly), and started to play Emma's route.

I have noticed on 6th mission when you're esa ping by road ( 2police wanzers and 3 helps) that everyone attacks you at the same time, even if you are not approaching 2 helps on the left. In the original, I believe, they are not triggered if not moving towards them much.

Did you notice anything like that? Makes platinum to be grindy with eng stuns and these scripts not working...

I'm asking because I always had this idea for a mod, with events and everything following the timeline.

I've seen a Code Geass one, and it even had Knightmares that you could deploy.

Just imagine playing trough the huffman conflicts, dealing with the coup d'etat in Alordesh.

Running into a bit of an issue with Front Mission 3 on GOG im using a PS5 controller via USB connect and when I first start the game I do get PS5 button prompts but if I so much as move my mouse it changes them back over to keyboard prompts.

Has anyone ran into this issue and is there a way I can stop this from happening?

Ive been thinking about if for a while and it’s been bugging me cuz I don’t have the tools to physically rip the 3d model from the game and check myself, and there’s no information online whatsoever about it, and so I’m curious if others have found out, via pixel measurements, data mining, etc

I just finished Dog Life/ Style. It's super amazing. However, with that said it's kind of depressing and violent. It offers a dimension of realism and sadness in between what you experience in the games.

I'm playing OCU scenario, and I've just finished Mission 10 (UCS Supply Camp), the one where Molly ran around and Keith and JJ was in the map already.

I just realized there is a secret mission.

I'm trying to find Bart in the Bar in Freedom City to unlock the Mail River Dam mission, but I can't find him anywhere. I'm pretty sure I saw someone named Bart in the Bar before but I didn't pay attention. I forgot if I've talked him once or not.

Note that I have not done the Secret Mission 1 (the one with Gina) and the opportunity has passed. Can I still do Secret Mission 2?

Anyone know good build for this mission? i tried this with kazuki equipped with shotgun,shield, and missile, ryogo with shotgun and shield, emma with shotgun, shield and grenade, dennis with rifle,shield and grenade and did not go well, weapons ranks between c to d+++

My USN squad is slowly coming together. Just wish I had more RPG infantry tho.
