Is that a cast, or are you touching the real thing?

It would seem like a bad idea to let people touch the real thing and get their oily hands on it.

It's a cast of the MB.Av.101, the real deal is on a public display (touching prohibited) in museum für naturkunde in berlin, germany.

I always thought Archaeopteryx was a bit bigger than that. But now I’m imagining one of these dinosaurs perched comfortably on my hand, preening its clawed wings with its toothed jaws, softly chittering contently.

We only have juvenile fossils last time I checked. The Berlin specimen (which is what I believe this one to be) is very much a juvenile
