I bought this bag 6 months ago for work after looking at the good reviews. It was supposed to be durable and last a long time but it now the zipper is unravelling.

The stitches are okay but the zipper is coming out of the stitch.

Please help me fix it.

I have this skirt and its been getting hard to zip up because of the snags in the fabric that the zipper is connected to. I did manage to zip it all the way up by pulling the loose fabric back but I don’t wanna have to do that every time I wanna wear it. Was wondering if I would be able to sew it back somehow or something like that or if I needed to just get it professionally fixed. Thanks!

The folding mechanism bit on my daughters scooter looks like it could fall apart at any moment. I assume I need some kind of bolt to stop it coming out? The silver latch bit doesn't stay shut.

Do I need something specific or would a random bolt from wickes work?

These water type marks i am unable to clean

#1 a German mill grinder my parents purchased when we lived there around 1983.

#2 a mill grinder bought from the Amish several decades back. Also from my parents.

Both kept in not good conditions and essentially not used for decades.

The first one has a bottom that is warped.

The second one…I’m not sure what it’s made from. Cast iron?

I’m in the process of taking apart and cleaning both but u sure what to use to clean properly. Have used a soft bristle brush so far to remove debris from the gear.

The latch on my dishwasher won't stay closed.

I bought this Sony CMT-CP101 for cheap (now I know why) for my 75+ year old parants to listen to CDs.

While playing, the laser head moves suddenly, which causes a skip (temporary no sound, it resumes). I've an official pressed CD in the player and it has no scratches at all. And it doesn't do this all the time.

Is this fixable? I kind of think it the rail needs lubrication? And if so, with what should I lubricate the rail?

I damaged this shelf when I was assembling it. The one on the bottom is broken, the bracket is sticking out of the wood, compared to the one next to it with no visible openings. My first thought was just to ducktape it all the way around, which I think would work but would be kinda ugly. What should I do here?

My bushing broke and the wheel won't stay on. I can't find a replacement bushing in my area and can't find the right one for print. Help, please.

I think the damage is from water as it’s just below the kitchen sink. Is it made from MDF or something else?

I'm trying to replace the front section of the tub of my Kenmore washer, 402-49032012 part number DC97-15909A.

I ordered one, but it was for the Samsung washer, that uses the exact same parts, sadly, there's an additional whole in the Samsung version for drainage. I was going to return it but so far I've had difficulty finding anywhere else that can get me this washer in a timely fashion. All the ones that are priced fairly are on back order. Everything else is way too expensive.

So before returning this one, I wanted to see if anybody had any ideas for a way to stop the hole. Possibly some form of rubber plug, The hole is 2 and 3/4 inches long, and about 3/4 inch wide

Is there anything I can do to fix it? I tried using a stick to push the fan blades and help the fan spin, but it still wouldn't spin. The fan keeps beeping continuously as long as the wall switch is turned on.

This isn't the first time this has happened. It also happened a few months ago, but the fan could still move a little at that time.

I would turn on the wall switch and press the button on the remote control, but the fan wouldn't spin. It would only beep in response to the remote. I had to keep pressing the remote button repeatedly before the fan would start moving bit by bit. At first, it would only move a tiny amount with each press. Eventually, it would start moving more, and I would use a stick to push the blades to help it spin. However, it still wouldn't spin properly. I just kept pressing the remote button over and over and helping the blades move until the fan finally started spinning normally.

However, today, the fan barely moves at all, no matter how many times I press the remote button. I also tried using a stick to help the blades move, but that didn't work either.

I'm not sure how to fix this, but I'd like to try fixing it myself if possible. What could be causing this problem, and what can I do to fix it?

Hello! I’ve lived in my 1949 home for a year now. This specific section of my house is a breakfast nook and most likely (can’t find the original floor plans, but it’s pretty obvious due to the layout) an add on. It’s ugly right now, but I LOVE THIS TRIM AND WAINSCOTING SO SO MUCH. It looked like this when we bought the home, so I knew what I was getting into. I plan on taking off all the poorly painted trim in the rest of the house and making it match this. (All my original floors are oak, any idea if this is as well?) Whatever the previous owners did to seal the window in such an ugly way has been working because there has been zero issues with water coming through the windows, so all that damage had to have been from before. I still plan to replace the old window panes one day to match the wood. The other three windows have zero water stains but that same puffy insulation around them. I have not attempted anything yet, because I’m scared to make anything worse. So what do you think - find a way to sand the intricate wainscoting/trim and stain, or start over? :( thank you so much in advance!

not sure if this is the right sub, but these smudges appeared on my glasses randomly….. I think maybe when I was making handmade tortillas. may not be from that but can anyone think of something I couldn’t try to clean it with? i’ve used soap, cleaners, wipes, etc. any help appreciated :)

I am so so scared. I took my M2 mac to local tech and he worked on the mother circuit and laptop is switching on (figured it from the light in caps lock on button) but the display is missing. What do I do?????? Please help!!!!

My Rheem PROG50-40N is around 6yo and the pilot won't stay lit after the power came back last night. It lights up while holding the button but when I release after the 30-60 sec window, it just goes out. From what I read, it's probably the thermocouple? I read the manuals and very patient watching tutorials, but just wondering if this is something I can check myself. I haven't DIY'd before, so I'm somewhat nervous. If it needs to get swapped, is it easy? And what should I look out for that needs the repair guys? Thanks
