I don't play any other mobile game anymore. I was very serious about Pokémon Shuffle in the past, but that's over several years already.
My current reference is basically FEH, so I don't know how it compares to other games in terms of complexity. And when I say that, I'm talking about multiple paragraphs long weapons/skill descriptions, variables, equations, a glossary of key words, etc.
I mean, is this something that is not really uncommon out there? Or is FEH just way too deep in its powercreep and complex skills?
I for once barely read anything anymore. I can't keep up with all the skills, effects, bonuses, calculations, I just try things and hope for the best. Or simply trust reviews by people like ZeShado, PM1, Fehology, etc. I don't even have keywords explanation enabled (because it takes too much space), and it's too much of a hasle to turn it on and off, so I go by with effect that I know nothing about and simply keep going.
If people from other games simply decided to start playing FEH in its current state, would they think this is utterly absurd? Or would this be something like "oh, so this one is like this as well, eh? (shrug)".
