Daily Life Discussions K**PAL NA KABAYAN

• Upvotes

Hi i'm 28F from Dubai. Everyday akong nagco-commute from Al Mina, near Satwa going to Ibn Battuta. Palagi akong may nakakasabay na mga pinay na nagwowork sa restaurant (i think, based on the polo shirt na suot nila) and if I correctly remember palagi silang bumababa sa Rashid Bin Bakhait Masjid 1. It happens na naka headset ako that time pero i still heard clearly what she said kasi naka - ambiance aware naman ang headset ko everytime i'm commuting. I stayed calmed at nagpatay malisya na hindi ko narinig but i was a bit scared. Then, bumaba na sila ng kasama nya at sarcastic na nagsabi ng excuse me at tinapakan yung paa ko. Sinamaan ko na lang siya ng tingin at took a deep breath because there is no way i would stoop down her level.

Help & Questions First international trip in UAE as a graduation gift

3 Upvotes

Hi! This is my first international flight, as a graduation gift from my family. I will be there for 45 days since my visa is for 2 months. (Will visit my aunt in Abu Dhabi and friends in Dubai too)

I am a Filipino which is I’m concerned since much of how I read about 98% chance of offloading Filipinos and 2% is pure luck or miracle—more specifically if you don’t have a job. And since I mentioned earlier that this is my graduation gift, I am deeply concerned about my flight.

Has someone else been to UAE this long? What precautions should I be taking?

Daily Life Discussions Dating.. wtf????

6 Upvotes

I have a lot of problems pero sige doon muna 'ko sa hindi ko naman priority pero medyo kabado at the same time, I'm turning 31 this year. I've had my first international jowa nung April, Arab, nag "break" kami nung June, we had no contact for almost 4 months then I decided to message him last month. He's giving me hint na gusto din nya i-continue yung meron kami pero fuck, parang hindi ko alam kung ano yung gusto ko talaga.. kapag hindi kami mag kausap, naiisip ko kung sanay na 'ko mag jowa ng afam? Kasi first time, may adjustment.. someone says that once you have a relationship w afam, you can never go back to filipino.

Help & Questions Zayed International Express from IBN to AUH airport

1 Upvotes

Good evening guys! Does anyone know if the Zayed International Express is still running today and leaves hourly still as it states on the website? I can’t buy tickets to secure bus seats online and I dont know where to buy to get them.

I know E102 is already suspended, and I dont know if Zayed Express has been replaced by the Capital Express buses. Any recent experience?

I got a flight tomorrow and I’d like to be in the airport by 5AM-ish. Thank you!

Help & Questions SexBomb Abu Dhabi Concert Refund – Has Anyone Received Their Refund Yet?

1 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I would like to ask if anyone here bought tickets for the SexBomb Girls concert in Abu Dhabi that was originally scheduled for March 2026 and requested a refund through AccessPass.

I was informed that my refund was initiated on May 5, 2026, with a processing period of 60–90 business days. However, I still haven't received my refund or any response from AccessPass despite sending multiple follow-up emails.

For those who requested a refund for the Abu Dhabi show, have you received your refund already, or are you still waiting?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience. Thank you!

Help & Questions Need help, super confused with UAE documents for Job Hunting 😭

1 Upvotes

Hi! Planning to go to UAE this December and mag-apply ng work there. I’m a college graduate from the Philippines and currently trying to prepare all the documents I might need.

Super confused lang ako kasi ang daming different info online. 😅

So far, ito yung nasa list ko:

* Diploma
* TOR
* Certificate of Graduation
* NBI Clearance
* Police Clearance
* PSA Birth Certificate
* Passport

For the Diploma/TOR, tama ba na the process is:

School → CAV → DFA Apostille → UAE Embassy in PH → MOFA UAE

Also, kailangan ba talaga ng Certificate of Graduation signed by the school principal/president, with Special Order and school stamp for college graduates? Or is Diploma + TOR enough?

For the other documents naman:

* NBI Clearance, Police Clearance, and PSA Birth Certificate — kailangan ba silang ipa-DFA Apostille + UAE Embassy attestation too, or specific documents lang?
* May other documents pa ba na highly recommended to prepare while nasa Philippines pa?
* May documents ba na better to process before leaving PH vs. pwede na gawin once nasa UAE na?

Also, kaya naman po siguro matapos or makuha yung mga documents na kailangan ipa-apostille before December, no? Especially if i-expedite lahat ng pwede i-expedite? 😭

Would really appreciate advice from anyone who recently went to UAE from PH to look for work. 🥹 Ayoko sana gumastos for documents na hindi naman pala kailangan, especially since I’m going there to job hunt pa lang.

Thank you so much! 🙏🏻

Help & Questions Dubai / UAE Bank Account

2 Upvotes

Hi po!

I’m looking to open a second bank account in the UAE, mainly for a high-yield savings account, and I’d love to know what people here are actually using.

My main requirement is having a relationship manager. I’m currently with ADCB and have one through my company, and that’s honestly a big reason I’ve stayed. With all the scam, fraud, and banking issue stories I’ve heard, I feel better knowing there’s an actual person I can contact if something goes wrong.

I’ve been considering FAB and Emirates NBD, but I don’t really want to open another account unless I can get an RM.

So far I’ve seen:
• Mashreq NEO: around 6.25% with salary transfer, but limited to 2 withdrawal if I’m not mistaken.
• ADCB: around 5.5%, with AED 50k in fresh funds

Would love to hear from anyone who’s found a good savings account in the UAE.

• Which bank are you with?
• what rate are you getting?
• And were you assigned a relationship manager?

If you have a good relationship manager at FAB, ENBD, Mashreq, or another bank, I’d really appreciate a referral.

Not looking for another credit card. I just want somewhere solid to park part of my savings.

Thank you po! 😊
