We are creating a fictional country roleplay Discord server.

Players act as citizens, state leaders, ministers, media, military, and intelligence.

The server focuses on text-based interaction so even low-end users can join.

What happens inside the server:

State meetings & national leaders meetings

Parliament debates, laws, and elections

National news and controlled rumor system

Press conferences & public opinion

Private intelligence and crisis rooms

Key features:

Power-based roles (President, Governors, Opposition, Media, etc.)

Weekly scheduled meetings using Discord Events

Rumors marked as [RUMOR] that may later be confirmed or denied

Strict RP rules (no real-life politics, no hate)

Mods act as Supreme Court to keep balance

Goal: Create a realistic, active political simulation where player decisions shape the future of the country.

If you like political RP, strategy, or world-building — you’re welcome to join and help build the nation.

Here is a little something I whipped up:

This was compiled and heavily influenced by AI, the base idea came from me.

The proposed government model is a robust system designed to balance representation, efficiency, and accountability, featuring three primary branches: the High Council, the Lower Council, and the Judicial Branch.

Balanced Representation is a cornerstone, with the Lower Council combining equal representation from each province with population-based adjustments to ensure fairness. This hybrid approach allows both smaller and larger provinces to have a voice, preventing dominance by any single group.

War Powers Oversight mandates that the High Council, which leads defense matters, must consult both the Lower and Judicial Councils for war decisions. This comprehensive oversight reduces the risk of unilateral actions.

A Transparent Judiciary is maintained by selecting judges through a merit-based process involving both the High Council and provincial Supreme Courts. Impartial Selection Panels ensure that the judiciary remains independent and fair.

To ensure Efficient Procedures, the legislative process is streamlined to reduce bottlenecks. Proposals undergo a thorough process of submission, committee review, debate, amendments, and voting. Joint committees and regular sessions foster collaboration between the High and Lower Councils. Independent oversight bodies monitor activities to ensure transparency and accountability.

Civic Engagement is actively encouraged through educational programs and participatory platforms that inform and involve citizens. Inclusive Civic Programs create an informed electorate and foster a culture of participation and accountability.

How would trademark and copyright laws in the US change if music, art, and poetry gave you super powers?

Let's say whenever you create an art form, like write a song, said art and any copy of it could create certain supernatural effects or enhance people's abilities (comparably to legend of zelda: ocarina of time). How do you think that'll effect copyright laws, trademark, and the right to own property? Theoretically, the US government could try to restrict the creation and distribution of art so it doesn't create absolute chaos, but that would technically be a breach of someone's rights. What could be put in place to fulfill both sides of the argument? Also, what other politics problems do you think might arise?

I don't want this to be a debate about copyright law disputes in real life unless you're referring to examples. Just want to brainstorm.

PS: Debate does not have to be exclusive to americans.

Sci-Fi Electoral Map of a planet I created for my book Treatise of Empires. The thick black lines are for the divisions between the three main countries and the thin lines are different states. Each electoral vote represents approximately 35,000,000 people and the minimum votes for a state is 3.

The beginnings to the political parties in my sci-fi world. I'm creating a political system for the potential sequel to my book Treatise of Empires and hopefully if I end up writing a second book I can incorporate some of these elements.
