I’m sitting here watching S1E4 and LOVING this show so far like the pace, characters, story, overall vibe. It reminds me of Dawson’s creek which I watched last year for the first time, which of course was great. I know Friends was on during this time period too.

Someone help me understand why these shows are SO much better than any new tv show I’ve seen today. I’m 30yo for reference watching for the first time. I cannot name one new tv series I genuinely like but I already know I like this show. Why???

I got into watching thinking it was a cozy show, which it is it terms of the atmosphere. But golly Felicity's choices stressing me a lot!

But I'll keep watching just cause for the vibes. It's so nostalgic for a time I didn't have any awareness cause I was just a kid.

I never realized until watching as an adult how screwed up Ben was from dealing with his alcoholic dad and avoidant mom.

Upon reflection as I am doing a rewatch after a long time having not watched the show.. Felicity should have focused on herself and not Ben or Noel. I am currently watching S4, Ep 14 and she is giving up the job working on the architecture project for Ben’s drama???? Why???????

Okay… it’s been a while since I watched the show. I’m watching it again. And I’ve watched it twice before because it’s my comfort show. The nostalgia of the 90s, girl in NYC, college… you get it. But every time I watched it I always thought man, I would’ve fallen for Noel if it was me. I know I know… he was grimy for not mentioning his girlfriend but I can’t help but swoon over how handsome and sweet he is. Is it just me?

I feel so bad for those of you that never got the see the original with the original music. I watched it with the original music in the 90’s and fell in love with all the music. I owned all of the cd’s from each season and bought multiple albums of artists I discovered. There was even a girl that started at website called “felicity tunes” that is still up today with all of the music that played and in what scenes. (www.felicitytunes.com)

I watched season 3 episode 16 today and the last song in the episode was so good! I was like “wow they did a good job picking the replacement song for this. I wonder what the original song was?”
Turns out - it was one of the ones that was kept from the original airing. JJ Abrams was SO good at picking great music. I just wish so bad they had kept it on for the re-air and DVDs. (I own the set and the music is all different 😞)

The absolute worst is season 4 - it’s like they gave up altogether. So bad. A pile of slop.

I love this show so much but the missing original music hurts my heart and soul. 💔😭

I also truly appreciate the Felicity restoration project on instagram. Whenever I feel sad about it I go and watch some of those scenes with the original music. I can’t wait for her to finish the whole series!

I'm watching this show for about the 10th time (especially since it's now on Netflix) and I think I would completely replace the character of Sean Blumberg. His character is so annoying and doesn't really fit with the other characters in the show. I was never convinced that, IRL, Meghan would marry someone like him. I wonder if they ever considered remaking the show.

The song starts at 15:12 on Netflix. I tried finding it by having my phone listen to it and also searching the lyrics. Anyone know? The original song was apparently Drive by R.E.M., but I want to know about this Netflix replacement. This is my first time watching Felicity. :)

Let’s talk about what a POS this woman was. First, she denied being Julie’s birth mother. Flat out lied to her face. Then she came back into Julie’s life just to tell her she could never meet her family — that their relationship had to be kept a secret. And then we find out she was married to Julie’s biological father the entire time, meaning the people Julie was being kept from were her own father and full siblings! 🤯
And after all that, she had the audacity to ask Julie to test to be a donor when her husband got sick? The cruelty, the deception, the manipulation—how do you do that to someone, your daughter, and live with yourself? She robbed Julie of the truth about her own identity and family. Absolutely despicable person inside and out.

Rewatching Season 1, Episode 6 Cheating. She really screwed the pooch in this one. Ben asked her to check the spelling in his paper and she ends up rewriting it. Bad bad bad.

And why?

I tried finding the soundtrack for this episode as well as using Shazam, and I can't identify the song at all! It's when Felicity is sitting by herself in a room during the party.

Its my First time to watch this 90s tv series. I kinda craving for some good Young Adult theme tv show and i ended up watching this ☺️. I cant believe that im on episode 12, i will never forget that first 10 minutes of ep 1 that made me yeah! I will absolutely watch this series. I can feel the realness of the characters, their struggles and wow the nostalgia love it!

Ps. Done watching season 1! I was surprised in the last two episode 😁 i like noel but, ben having that kind of haircut wow he became even hotter and cuter. I can see the chemistry of ben and Felicity that i didnt see when shes with noel.

Watching this as an adult, I realize that Felicity is sooo messy. Season 1, she’s trying to date Noel, the. Hooks up with Eli, goes away with her Friend’s newly ex-boyfriend. Season two - four, she’s a mess in the personal life. It’s hysterical but I guess aren’t we all messy.

She was also Cynthia in Dazed and Confused and Holly in The Brady Bunch Movie!

She reminds me of Ally Sheedy at the end of The Breakfast Club.
