Short story: My scheduled delivery date is Oct 15,2026 and yes I understand it is just an estimated but not when I been constantly monitoring where it is at. I live in Fresno,CA and the tracking last update was Oct 14,2026 and it's located in TEHACHAPI, CA (which is 155 miles away from Fresno) and is a 2 hour drive. Look at the time line, Oct 14 11:23pm...it's now Oct 15,2026 7:01pm and I still didnt get no freaking updates and I even called customer service! They tell me it will get to me by today by 8pm. I just checked the tracking again and now it tells me "Delivery updates will be updated once we sees the truck is moving" so original estimated delivery date is Oct 15th to "Unknown"

Does that makes sense to any of you? A package that is literally 2 hours away and you can't even give me some piece of info to know what's going on and why it hasn't moved for the 20 hour or more? Yes i do see the weather delays and i called about that and it was from the mojave desert area that they had a Strong Wind Gust Advisory so it caused delays but not THAT long. I even looked up the weather info on how long did this weather lasted and it only lasted for 4 hours. So there is no excuse for fedex to tell me why it isn't moving! I will wait tomorrow to see if anything changes, if not. I planned on filing a complaint and do a trace. This is ridiculous, customer service can't even give me a straight answer on what's going on!

So was supposed to have something delivered today they did the whole fake attempt thing and now have it scheduled to be delivered tomorrow I tried to have it sent to a store so I can pick it up myself and not have to deal with some dude being lazy and didnt want to walk up 4 steps but the app says i cant is there anyway I can talk to customer service to have them do it on there side

Had a package shipped from Canada to US sitting for two weeks without moving. Reached out to FedEx and they said it was a customs issue, just gave the phone number to logistics, instead of providing the reason in writing. After calling they said I needed to provide the shippers name and address as it was unclear on the invoice who was the shipper and who was the exporter of record. FedEx actually emailed me the invoice, and I just emailed back to them with what it said on the invoice….
Magically it cleared customs and I never actually spoke to anyone from customs.

I have moved from the USA to the UK, but I’m back in the US to finish moving my belongings. I planned on using FedEx last minute rates as I put in the boxes and dimensions and it seems like I can get it all shipped for a decent price. The only thing I’m trying to figure out is how to get my documents in order. The UK has a Transfer of Residence Relief that I have already been approved for, just waiting on confirmation that my second round of items has been added to it. So theoretically I shouldn’t have to pay any additional taxes on importing my things as they are all used personal effects and not anything commercial or to be sold or anything like that. But when I go to try the tool that tells you what documents you need, it asks me for every individual item, and it’s country of origin, and its price, and, and, and….

Is this something I actually have to do to get my things shipped? I have a vague list for my relief forms but it’s more “shirts-30 (approximately)” and so on. I really thought I would save money by going with FedEx but if they want me to rip open my already packaged boxes and catalog every item, and find out how much I bought it for, and what country it was manufactured in, I may just suck it up and pay the extra $800 to a bag shipping company just so I don’t have to deal with it anymore.

I don’t know if it just wasn’t scanned in or what but the time on my package updated to here where it says before end of day 🤦🏽‍♀️ but it’s not out for delivery???????

I dropped eight packages off at a FedEx depot, on Tuesday morning. Of the eight, five have been delivered, but the other three have yet to be scanned. I contacted support and was able to get a ticket opened. Now I suppose all I can do is wait.

Not sure if I should contact my three customers to let them know I am aware of the delay.

What are the chances these packages show up? Is there a chance they've been delivered, but were never scanned?

Just looking for some hope that things will work out. These were all one-of-a-kind pieces that I cannot easily replace...

I've received one package just fine yesterday, but my app says that it was delayed and not delivered. The other package I'm waiting on has said arriving today yesterday and today since 5am.

Could there be a mix-up I should notify them about to fix this?

I’m looking at the tracking for my package and it said that it was out for delivery and would be here before 10 pm but when I looked at the details it didn’t say that it “At destination sort facility” like my last package had, it said that it was “At local FedEx facility” and then “On FedEx vehicle for delivery” and then I looked at the driver and it’s the same driver that delivered my last package so I’m very confused. Should I contact customer support? It also doesn’t have the map like it did last time fedex delivered my package.

Why are FedEx drivers so much careless and annoying to deal with compared to UPS drivers? I do live in a gated apartment complex so I get that the gate is a hindrance but my apartment is really close to the door and I have both my wooden door and window open so I can perfectly hear any knocking or whenever they ask out for someone to open the door. The annoying part is that my neighbors are always ordering things and their delivery drivers always call out so I always open it for them because might as well right? But any driver that’s for my order ? Not a single noise. I swear the dude just slapped the sticker on the gate and ran off to his truck

I shipped a return using the store’s label for an expensive bag, but an email from the store claims I sent a dress instead. I need to determine when the contents changed since the dress package is one pound lighter (the store is sending me the dress I never shipped). Should I call FedEx for weights and dimensions at hubs or visit the location where I dropped it off? Or will they share this data only with the store since they generated the label? What do I do with this dress package they are sending back?

It’s been stuck on Lantau Island, HK since 10/06 and now the delivery status just says “Your package is still on the way and we're actively working to get you a new delivery date.”. Shein’s customer service sucks. Is there anything I can do?

I’m genuinely curious, not trying to complain, because clearly there must be a reason this keeps happening. I do live in a rural area but friends, marketplace pickups, and other delivery services never have trouble finding my house. GPS works, my mailbox is clearly marked, and I have a bigger sign at the driveway entrance with my full address. Houses are pretty spread apart out here so it’s not like you could mistake one house for another, I can’t see another house from mine.

Last month a driver showed up super late and apologized saying whatever system they use sent him 20 minutes away so he had to use his personal phone’s gps to find my place, which brought him right here. I usually have the same driver and she’s excellent, but about 50% of the time if it’s a different driver my packages get left somewhere else. Last week a guy who lives a mile away from me brought me my packages that were left on his porch.

It’s currently 85° here and I was waiting on a horse medication delivery that needs to be refrigerated asap, only to get a notification my package was delivered and the photo is not my house. I don’t know what to do. I tried downloading the app but only saw a spot to input preference on which door to place the packages at (I don’t care as long as it’s one of my doors 😆) or any gate codes. This is starting to get really frustrating. Is there anything I can do? I hate reporting a missing delivery because while yes it’s partially the driver’s fault, it seems there is a flaw in FedEx’s system with my address.

Hello! First time poster here and I have a question. I have a package that’s supposed to be delivered tomorrow while I’m out of town. I rescheduled the delivery date, paid the fee, and got the confirmation email that the change was successful. I can even see where I requested the change on the shipping details when I track the package. However, it’s still got my package scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. It’s not made it to the final destination point before it’s marked as being out for delivery yet either. Will they update the delivery date to reflect the new one that I requested soon?

Has anyone had any experience losing a package in Memphis? I don’t know what to do filed the claim seller did as well. It was worth 1k. And they seemed to have given up looking. And seems like they could give two shits.

My time sensitive trade-in package has been stuck on a delivery exception for 8 full days now past the scheduled delivery date. The tracking hasn't updated, and FedEx hasn't even attempted a redelivery—it's just sitting at a hub somewhere.
When I tried calling FedEx to start a trace or investigation, their bot kept stonewalling me, and I couldn't get one opened on my end because it's a merchant-provided return label.

For anyone else stuck in the same boat, here is what I’ve learned on how to get past the brick wall so far:
FedEx Phone Bot: If you're trapped in phone tree hell ([1-800-GO-FEDEX](tel:1-800-GO-FEDEX)), say "Returning a call" or "Technical assistance" to bypass the automated tracking reader and force a transfer to a human.
Initiating a Trace: Since the merchant owns the account on pre-paid return labels, FedEx usually won't let the sender open an official investigation. You have to contact the receiving company's support directly and ask them to file a tracer/claim on their corporate account.

Have tried contafting FedEx Customer Service by phone and online web tool without success. Looking for help!

FedEx driver drove down my residential street at 40 to 50 MPH. Trying to contact FedEx directly but they've made it next to impossible to talk to a human. Anyone know of any backdoor phone number or email? I'd certainly appreciate any help that ya'll can offer.

Another day, another failed delivery. How incompetent is FedEx and its employees. Every time I see a FedEx tracking number I genuinely feel like drinking a fifth of vodka.

“Street name is incorrect on packaging” oh really? That’s interesting because on your own site with the tracking number it lists my exact details. Sounds like your drivers have difficulty reading English. This is getting absurd and I’m sick of it. I would be $50 shipping fee to NOT have to deal with FedEx.

I have a package shipped through FedEx that the shipper requires a direct signature for. I saw this and immediately went to try and avoid the issue by holding it for pick up.

Unfortunately, despite being pretty close to a major city, my new residence is, per the FedEx system, too far from any valid pickup locations to do this.

Whatever, fine, my partner was able to be home all day Monday to sign for it. So she waited on the couch by the door for five hours. We could track the truck in the app and knew when it was getting close. Yet, in the five minutes between updates, despite being within five feet from the door the whole time, the delivery attempt was made and failed. Per our cameras, the delivery lady came up with a door tag already in hand, slapped it on our storm door without even a knock, and left.

I'm unhappy with this and get a quick phone call route to a supervisor who says he'll contact dispatch and have them reattempt delivery that evening. He calls me back ten minutes later to confirm that this has been done and it should be reattempted before EOD.

Taking no chances, I return home. And I wait and I wait. And by what surely must be well past end of day (8pm), I still don't have a second attempt.

I call again, get another "supervisor," and confirm an actual bona fide scheduled delivery time of this morning between 8 and 10am.

So I work from home. 10 am comes and goes. No delivery. The tracking doesn't even have a time frame any more, let alone the GPS tracker. It just says "end of day" so long, good luck.

It's now 2pm. I have an appointment. I have to leave for an cannot miss or reschedule. This package should have been here yesterday. It certainly should have been here this morning, or so I was told (quite adamantly in fact).

I have a signed note on the door in some feeble and knowingly futile attempt to waive the signature requirement. But I have no doubt that I'm going to miss the delivery again today. I cannot work another day from home, nor can my partner, and FedEx is providing me no alternatives other than waiting for that third failed attempt and seeing how long I'll have to drive to pick it up.

I get that no one in this equation is paid enough to care about my package. But my partner and I are both having to take time out of our days to wait for a package that our driver barely even attempted to deliver. I don't have all the flexibility in the world to be at home every day to sign for a package. I know it's coming Monday, I made sure we were available and ready, and you can't even knock?
