New roadmap: we are still in Tír Ghlas, in the northeastern province of Glannach.

An Grianán, the capital, lies on the shores of Lake Damháin Alla (Spider Lake); various roads connect it to the island's other regions.

I’ve included these images as WIP, since I was asked about my process.

This week's map is the Creepy Chasm [50x50], another spooky map for the spooky month! Make sure your players stay far away from this terrible pit, it looks like a real far fall down and not even I know what you'll find down there. There are probably nasty pale things that evolved to not have eyes anymore and are all soft and fleshy and hate the surface things with all their precious eyes they're so attached to. Essentially, unless you've got a heroic or lucrative reason to visit I'd say this is a great location to avoid.

The Autumn Road is a free dark autumn forest battlemap built for harvest festival sessions, cursed forest encounters, and anything your campaign needs a little October in.

Winding dirt path cutting through deep amber and orange woodland, pumpkin patches sprawling across both sides of the road, twisted dead roots breaking through the earth, scattered boulders, and a darkness between the trees that has nothing to do with the season.

Interesting deteriorating concrete

I decided to draw road maps of Tír Ghlas, my fictional world, mainly to make my job easier when describing the journeys of my novels' protagonists... this is the first one, created today.

It is drawn using Sakura Pigma Micron pens of various line widths and then colored with watercolors.
