15 years ago, as a high school senior self-teaching Adobe Premiere, I edited a fan trailer for Gears of War 3 just for fun. It ended up picking up steam on social media, got retweeted by several Epic Games devs, and somehow caught the attention of Xbox, who actually sent me a Limited Edition Gears 3 console. As a kid, that completely blew my mind and propelled me toward pursuing this as a career.

Fast forward 15 years. I’m working as a professional video editor (albeit not a trailer editor) but I’m still playing these games to unwind. Coming back to edit a fan trailer for Gears of War: E-Day feels like a full circle moment. So please give it a watch and let me know what you think!!
