I have been thinking and unable to understand deeply what make/keep working till 50+ age. People say it is liabilities, lifestyle, expenses, aspirations etc. I want to understand this in more detail.

When people know the current uncertainty, why would one spend which make them work 50+ age. Let me know your thoughts

Why I am thinking this is because I feel I don't have such dependencies as of now and I can be free in couple of years (no one know future).

My fear is am I not looking at something, which others are?

Hi, I’m 26 F studying in abroad, right now I’m not working but I have friends who got into FAANG companies recently with 200k compensation. My family has networth of 40 crores. I want to do something of my own but I feel like I’m missing something here and don’t have the courage to go back. I feel like people in faang are going to hit that number in near future with those compensations. Do you think this net worth is ok to survive or it’s better I start working right now.
