Discussion What’s your Dream (X) Vs. (X) game?
Was playing some R+ yesterday and realized how fun a Guilty Gear Vs. Darkstalkers would be. What’s y’all’s dream crossover?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if any of you DBFZ players in the Phoenix, AZ area.
I'd love for people to come down to Heat Wave 9 at Gamers Guild (1818 W Bell Rd Ste 115, Phoenix, AZ) to have a fun time and battle it out. Hoping for fun turnout, so please help spread the word cuz I'm trying.
Going down 10/23 - 10/25

So I'm trying to make my own fighting game and was looking to know what kind of tutorials for making a game are out there. I'm looking to (at least gameplay wise) make a game like Street Fighter, with 3D models for my fighters, hit stop, ex moves, stuff like that. Does anyone know a good tutorial or set if tutorials for making a decent fighter? Assume that I have things like 3D models taken care of, just looking to make a fighting game to plug them into and get them fighting!
Thank you all in advance! Hopefully you'll one day see me posting about an indie game I'm making!

For as long as I’ve played fighting games I’ve always heard about the different metas and tier lists and caliber of players on either side of the world. We have an eclectic melting pot here in the FGC and I’m wondering if anyone has ever noticed a difference in talent of players based on the region they play in? Not just limited to NA or EU but also Asia and the Middle East etc…

What’s your top 3 games in the FGC that you connect with and why?
What is your one tip that you can say to newer or others to help?
For me:
Tekken
Be kind to yourself you are still learning and be humble. You will get your shizz rocked and just learn!

So I decided to pick up Alex who I've had an interest in since 3s but couldn't really get in it cause I suck at and hate charge moves. And now that he doesn't have em anymore I picked him up and am wondering what I could have done better in my match

Also I'm not a combo heavy guy.

Hey guys and gals,
For the last few weeks I've been really torn about which fighting to stick to, I've been rotating between a lot of different sub-genres of fighting games from tag, to 3D to 2D, air-dashers, etc, I would also like to state that I only play on PC, no consoles whatsoever
I have been watching a lot of different kinds of videos on YT and reading a bunch of reddit articles about peoples experiences choosing a fighting game/s they can invest in, in the long term; whether its to play online ranked mode, offline at tournaments, even attending locals to see what all the people at your local are playing so you can join in and have some fun and potentially compete
I am currently torn between a few different games and would love reddit's opinion (however toxic it may be) to help me and others possibly struggling with the same decision to find their optimal game/s or others that they feel, would either be a waste of time or only play it because their friends/locals are playing it;
(Comments that tell me to play them all and who cares, I will just ignore)
So these are the games I have been rotating for about 3-4 weeks now and truthfully I am enjoying all of them for different reasons; but I also want the game to have longevity for the future, I want to maybe compete in some offline/online tournaments and at locals they are:
The 2 outlier games (I've only dabbled):
GGST
Marvel Tokon
2XKO
UNI2 MBTL BBCF
Avatar Legends and Invincible VS
In terms of these 2 games I have only dabbled and have not checked anything new or upcoming about the games, but they are still very fresh, Avatar seems to have a steady players per 24hr 300-700 and I've heard a lot of people say its gone back to the old ways of how fighting games used to feel
Invincible VS on the other hand is doing shockingly poorly, the number per 24hrs are very low 30-50, Im not sure of any future updates and the direction the dev team plans to go with it
But please read through, and I implore you to correct me at any stage; I have no issues with that
I would mainly love to know your opinions and what you believe to be the future of all these games and more that I might not have mentioned
Thank you for your time
:)

I’ve been wondering how newer players feel about joining the community when starting out in a new game. Do they feel like they can ask around and get helpful tips? Are they told just to figure it out? Do they not ask for fear of ridicule? I think the community like any community has its toxic members and mentalities, but overall I like to think I have seen a lot more positivity when players, especially newer players, ask questions about whatever game they’re getting into.
