I commend the attempt and hope you practice more and more because passion is all you need for drawing and skill can only be acquired through hard work!
But.
I'm a bad person and thought of the sasuke meme.

Shifting one or the other inner eye so they are looking in the same direction would go a long way for a very small change

The idea is there and that isn't a bad starting point imho to get really good at drawing faces. I remember when the Frieren face meme started it was because the author of the og pic was asking for tips for drawing faces from various povs so people made lots of tutorial on the subject, if that may help.

Keep it up!! This is a great first attempt 💜 No one is born knowing how to draw, it is a skill we hone and practice. I hope to see more of your drawings pop up from time to time

He is the bane of my existence, his hair is just too stupid. Even looking at the reference i can't never seem to reproduce it, it's literally a chocobo on top of his head.

Something is wrong with his jaw/mouth, and some lines there look like drool, lol. Also, the eye on the right is a bit far off to the right making him look weird.
This being said, I can't draw something like that myself. So, we'll done. Keep practicing tho.

Why did he Strife so much?
But honestly, keep drawing. Your sketch is better than anything I've done with a pencil. Aside to toothpicking, maybe...

Keep going, Of course some will say mean stuff, probably from people who cant even draw, Just continue, any skill improve through practice. Your draw is not bad and you added shades and details, what dont match about the character is the head proportion related to the perspective, he has a more stilized face shape But again you are doing good
