As the title says, f1 is now free on playstation for the month and i’m a media and photography student at college. i haven’t really used a photo mode on a game before so i had to use my knowledge. Which one do you like best?

So with the recent track mods that came out, none of them work for me and crash when loading into the track. Might be an AMD specific card issue - Anyway, I was bored an manged to port Sochi from F121. No idea if this is done yet or someone else is working on it but not bad for an afternoons work.

I made a new one since I got flamed so much on my last one. I know a couple of these aren’t f1 games but I’m basing them off the formula 1 cars they have in game. Yes, I have played all of these. Why is F124 so low?, It had atrocious handling and I was playing with a controller.

I buy this livery but I can´t use this livery because I can't find it. So, could you help me figure out what it’s about?

Just wasted an hour of my life in Singapore in F1 23 to end P2 after a rough battle and move up to first in the drivers standings only to press restart instead of replay.

Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to just have that go straight back into the race without any further confirmation and not confirm it especially in my team / career mode with just a simple are you sure button after such a long time…

I can tolerate an engine failure in the last lap, that’s part of the game and part of real life, but man who designed the restart button to do this shit, I can’t believe it, I’m just gonna crash into title contenders and call it still level on points and go to next one…

For most of this year I've been developing a custom 3D and physics engine for racing sims. This is it running inside my port of Grand Prix 2, by the legendary Geoff Crammond. To whom, EA owe so much.

So now, GP2 gets to go goblin mode - 4K 120fps, classic 4:3 or widescreen, with proper wheel and pedal support and even VR coming later.

What do you guys think? Do you think it would provide better racing? Like would people race cleaner and more cautiously?

I just recently started my career in F2 and I noticed that they send you off into qualifying with like 10 laps of fuel and no way to edit the fuel load to make it smaller? The AI will be laps almost 2 seconds faster than me because I assume they have lower fuel loads? By the time I do enough laps during quali to get the fuel load low enough for about 2ish laps my tires are shot every time, pretty frustrating.. Is there a workaround for this? Just lower the Ai difficulty?

(Im pretty new to f1, started playing game for the first time last year in december, here i had only ABS turned off, will be slowly turning off more assists. And yes was listening to that one song from edits).

I’m more biased towards the ones I’ve played with the exception of F124.
These ones I’ve played are F12010, F12020, F123, F124, F125, F1 Mobile Racing

Which games should I try next?

I have been playing 50% of career mode. I started strugling with pitstop. Sometimes when i lead and have a 15 seconds gap, anytime i pit i basically lose the race. I pit first i lose and i pit second i still lose.

There's a mandatory pitstop. I lost a race to Norris where he pitted only once whereas i was forced to pit twice. And happened again two races later. I didn't understand.

Am i doing something wrong here ? Everytime i pit, i lose basically. I play on 75 difficulty.

Also i hate those scripted Redflags. No matter how much you play again the same thing happens. The most weird one for me was the Miami GP where there was a scripted Rain but Sainz everytime i restarted the race was top 3.
