r/EveryBitTexas is for Texas history, landmarks, folklore and the small stories that never made it onto a highway sign. All 254 counties count, even the ones nobody can find on a map.
Posting here
Keep it Texan. If a photo, article or video has nothing to do with Texas, it'll get removed.
Give people something to work with. Say the county, the year, who's in the picture, or why you're sharing it. A bare image with no caption doesn't tell anybody anything, so those come down (Rule 4).
Politics is fine when it's about Texas. Link a source and argue about the issue, not the person.
You can post your own business or project once a week. More than that and it gets removed as spam.
The rules in short
- No disinformation. You're entitled to your own opinions, not your own facts.
- Texas relevance.
- Civil discourse.
- Provide context.
- No spam; self-promotion once a week.
- Texas politics with a source.
- No bots or coordinated inauthentic activity.
The full wording is in the sidebar and on the FAQ.
