So I just started playing this and I'm rather disappointed with how the ship handles, way too arcade, doesn't even feel like you're cruising fast even with boost. I was looking for at least similar ship movement to something like Colony Wars or Star Trek Invasion back on PS1. Is Everspace 2 ship handling the same as first game?
