Case / Rack Share Live rig fall 2026
thought i’d share this one here- some ramblings about my live rig currently, tyty

Reddit has come through and we are free from any casino related content 😊.
To keep it that way, we've added some automod capabilities that will hopefully keep us safe. While we were at it, we've added some color around the sub as well 🫟.
It will probably takes us a couple of days to find our footing, but we are finally under new management and open for business! 🎉.

Hello! sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I have a couple of questions about the ALA nightlife series of mixers.
The product page mentions that you can use a barback directly with one of the 2hp outs, which seems like a pretty great way of getting a teeny tiny super feature rich mixer, that you can easily add more channels to as you go. has anyone done this successfully? does it work well? also, it seems like it might be possible to add an extra send/return with the 2hp module and the 2hp vcas by wiring things up at the back in a certain way, but it's hard to tell - has anyone tried this? i like that it scales, but having to add that massive matrix for a bunch more sends is very space consuming. it would be awesome if they did a smaller, standalone module that just added one extra set of sends.

So I have these cases. I have nano rings, pico voice, pico bell, a braids, a loop sample module. I have a kick and a snare module. I have rides in the storm xxm, feg, doc, I have a 2hp TM and I have usb midi from the intellijel case at the bottom with an sp 404. I want to do house and techno sampling I’m wondering about sequencing obviously I have the rs9 but that’s for drums. What could I get or replace

Built on the source Mutable Instruments released. It isn't a Mutable Instruments product, so please don't contact them about it.

Hi all, after my first case.
Two good options have come up.
Intelligel 84hp performance case with the line out 1u module, headphone out 1u and soft carry case,
Or
Tiptop Mantis 104hp.
The Mantis is slightly less than half the price, and bigger. Wondering what if anyone has any opinions on these options, and whether the Intelligel would have any magical powers or anything?
So far have the Moog Labyrinth, and want to build on this. Drums will be taken care of out of the box.
Cheers guys!

Please check out the attached video. I hadn’t used my euro rack system for awhile and plugged it in today. Turned it on and I noticed that some modules appear to not be functioning normally. The missing panel in the top left is when I had my intellijel I/O module. The input and output gain were fully lit up (I know it’s not included in the video).
I also noticed my bubble sound oscillators didn’t seem to be making sound and the rate led was fully red (typically adjusting the tuning down to low audio rate and sub audio is visible by the led blinking but it did not seem to change at all)
Any idea what’s goin on here
UPDATE:
It turns out I plugged the wrong power supply from another case I have into the intellijel case. Unfortunately it seems like I blew the board on the intellijel case. Modules seem fine though so that’s a relief

I picked this module up at Knobcon this year and just put together a little demo and tutorial.
It's a passive (0ma) module that uses switchable capacitors and inductors to discretely set the filter frequency and Q. As a high-Q filter, it acts more like a resonator.
(Note: this video is going live at 10AM US Pacific time - I'm posting a few minutes in advance in case anyone wants to join the live chat then 😺)

A quick Demo video running an envelope and sine wave LFO into the BXR and getting variations of mangled control voltage. The audio is a static Sawtooth wave being filtered, and the filter being modulated by the mangled CV. For context, the CV input sources are all either a simple Saw style ADSR or sine wave.
This is running firmware 1.3 which adds one feature - In LFO mode, when a clock is plugged in to the Pitch 1/O input, the pitch knob becomes a clock multiplier/divider, allowing the internal LFO to sync to things.

I'm looking at getting a module from this site. https://audivora.co.uk/
Had anyone ordered from them? Are they a legitimate company?

Hi there! I am a big manual reader, I print out manuals for all of my modules and keep a binder next to my workstation, but sometimes I just want to find the information I need a little quicker.
I put together some quick use guides for these modules, hosted on GitHub for future updates and easy accessibility. Each guide is 100% free to use, download, print. The first 3 modules I decided to tackle from my rig are the Hermod+, Lubadh and Morphagene, let me know if you'd be interested in seeing a traveller's guide for your favorite module.
I'm always open to feedback, please let me know if you find a mistake or something that doesn't make sense, these are for the community to have easy access to complicated information quickly, not to slow you down with misinformation.

big shoutouts to the companies that make these modules and to Tom Mueller and Jonathan Hickman for the style inspiration.

I’m considering picking up a NE Confundo Funkidos to add more hands on control and variation to rhythms I make with Intellijel Steppy. I would use Pamela’s Pro Workout for the paired rhythms. I have some questions for users of the module or its predecessor and I’m interested to hear your general impressions and how you use it.

Hey everyone!
I recently had the chance to sit down with Girts Ozolins, founder of Erica Synths, for a conversation about modular synthesis that goes beyond specs and features.
We talked about the ideas, communities, and creative thinking behind the machines, the development of Eurorack modules, and how a company approaches building instruments in such a constantly evolving scene.
I wanted to explore the thinking behind the instruments, not just the instruments themselves.
Watch the full interview here:

I'd love to hear your thoughts, since this video revolves a lot around community and how it shapes an entire field and makes connections. I want to hear from the community itself

I maintain a small firmware patch for the Bitbox Micro that puts more of the module on MIDI, and 2.3.8-mod is ready for release with three new features accessed on the Settings screen.
Not from 1010music, can't brick it, bring your own stock firmware, don't pass the patched firmware around. Details in the guide.
Full guide, including what each control does and how to set your presets up so it works:

Hi everyone!
I've been developing Rasgo Modular, a standalone software modular synth written in C++. It's free and open source (AGPLv3), runs on Linux, Windows and macOS, and has 58 modules to explore and combine.
To be clear up front: it's software, not a Eurorack module. But a lot of it grew out of thinking about Eurorack.
What makes it different: the cables aren't just wires. Each cable has its own state:
- Conduction: a cable can let the signal through only part of the time, at random, like a Bernoulli gate built into every patch cord.
- Relation: a cable can combine what it carries with a second signal (ring mod, wavefolding or difference), a bit like having a Warps inside the cable.
- Rupture: break a cable and the sound doesn't just cut. It repeats the last bit it carried, fading out like a scar.
It opens with a generated patch (a seed) already playing. You can play it as it is, tweak it, rewire it, or press n to pull every cable and start from scratch. The same seed number always brings back the same patch.
It's an independent project with no funding, driven by research, curiosity and a love of modular synthesis.
Feedback is very welcome, especially from people who think in hardware.

(The app isn't signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, so the first launch shows a warning. The install page explains what to do.)

Seems super cool , have anyone tried?

I've been patching an AE Modular synth for years and now I'm slowly working towards building my first eurorack system. As a software engineer by day, I've always wondered why there wasn't an easy way to learn/experiment with modular.
VCV rack is really cool, but I always thought that there shouldn't be a need to download anything - there are plenty of web libraries available to build a great modular experience that you can access in just one click.
So I build a weekend project: Ostra! You get a full simulation of a capable system with dozens of modules, as well as a full step-by-step tutorial that can teach anyone the basics in about 15 minutes. Afterwards, you can spend hours patching pretty much anything - I even have a full sample player/granular synth where you can upload your own .WAV files. You can also record your jams and download them instantly. There is no login, no download and it doesn't cost anything. It runs fully in your browser.
Would love some feedback from the Eurorack community!
