Software Engineer in Addis looking for backend / AI / remote opportunities

[u/Alarmed_Offer_3213]

Hi everyone,

I’m a software engineer based in Addis Ababa with 3+ years of experience, and I’m currently looking for a new opportunity.

My background is mainly in backend and AI systems. I work with Python, Go, Node.js/TypeScript, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, AWS, and distributed backend systems. I’ve also been working with LLM/agentic systems using LangGraph, MCP, RAG, Claude/OpenAI tooling, and AI-assisted development.

I’m open to:

• Backend Engineer roles
• AI / LLM Engineer roles
• Full-Stack roles
• Remote international opportunities
• Local opportunities in Addis if the role is a strong fit
• Contract or full-time work

I’ve worked on production APIs, database optimization, event-driven systems, integrations, AI agents, and developer tooling.

If your company is hiring, or if you know someone looking for an engineer with this background, I’d really appreciate a DM or referral.

Thanks!
