Do people really not know Israel and Egypt and Jordan made peace?
71
u/RandomModder05 1d ago
No. They know nothing but what random bits on TikTok have told them they should be angry about.

I’ll never understand being so passionate about something and knowing so little at the same time
2
u/RandomModder05 11h ago
Because they're dumb enough to think that the little they know is everything.
This speech by John Cleese sums it up perfectly: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fMs1xhGcVqM

Dunning Kruger effect. Notice how they always say they know better than people that lived through the events by dismissing any opposition as propaganda

Are they planning on attacking israel? Because then i'd understand them
The "finding out" part after the "fuck around" is much worse with israel

u/fynjy1111 1d ago
I chose Israel but now I realized I don't want Hezbollah in my city so I think that North Korea is better option

Looking at this map, there's only one question you need to ask yourself:
Whose word on this do you believe, that of the South Koreans or that of the Arabs?
I personally feel one of those groups has a better record of trustworthiness.

They just dislike Israel. It’s not that deep

The funniest part about this is Iran choosing Israel <3

Iran used to be one of Israel's greatest allies until 1979.

I'm actually not surprised most Iranians I've met on Reddit are super anti-regime and based.

Yeah, I died from laughing when I saw which side Iran chose, in Reddit Reds’ opinion

As an Israeli, I'll rather border North Korea than any country we border today, would be much more stable border...

u/f0remsics 1d ago
Actually, I voted North Korea. If my country borders North korea, that means I'm either in China or south korea. Meanwhile, if I vote israel, I end up in a muslim country which I will have a much worse time in

u/Junior-Bookkeeper325 MassaRican Neocon 🇵🇷 1d ago
Fair, the question doesn't specify much. If Israel were teleported to the US East Coast I would be fine with it, if my state were teleported next to Israel, that would issue because of the local neighborhood.
22
u/f0remsics 1d ago
right. the specifics are foggy. Is my country moved, am i moved, or is the chosen country moved? that is what determines our answer

As someone who live in Japan having North Korea as your neighbor is definitely not fun at all

u/zackandcodyfan 1d ago
The saddest part is that the sub in question is marginally less antizionist than 95% of Reddit.

Isreal has attacked its neighbors more than NK has.

Poor innocent neighbors just minding their own business...

I mean that’s fair, I definitely wouldn’t want to live in any of Israel’s neighboring countries. I’d much rather live in South Korea or even China before any of those countries.

South Korea voting for North Korea... Right

It’s two different types of aggressive. North Korea barks, but has never bitten for 70 yrs

Tbh I'd prefer neither because life for me would be terrible in any of the neighboring countries

South Korea isn’t that bad precisely, but I get what you’re saying

Maybe if you're a light-skinned man. But I've heard wage gaps there are even worse than in some Muslim countries and then there's the colorism.

As long as your territory doesn't have any parts of Canaan, having Isreal as a neighbour would definitely be better than North Korea.

u/HyperlaneWizard Ex-Soviet Israeli 1d ago
Ah yes, the good ol' expansionist Israel thing... Remember when we said, "fuck peace with Egypt, we'd rather keep holding Sinai"?! No? Ah...

u/HyperlaneWizard Ex-Soviet Israeli 1d ago
No... No I don't...
I grew up on a settlement. You know what's cool about them? That according to the Oslo Accords which the Palestinians signed, Israel has every right to build settlements in what is deemed "Area C".
Now, here's a link to an Al-Jazeera story (so you can't claim it's biased). Go to the interactive map and highlight Areas A and B and watch as all the "illegal settlements" pop-up around them only in Area C.

I like how to counter accusations of Israeli expansionism, you send me a link of Israel expanding... but it's a result of winning a war, so it's fine. I guess it's not expansionism if it's spoils of war.
I swear, Zionists are they're own wordt enemy when it comes to PR.

u/HyperlaneWizard Ex-Soviet Israeli 1d ago
*Take all of Judea and Samaria from Jordan in a war*
*Give half of it to the Palestinians*
*The Palestinians agree we have a right to build on the land we keep*
Some guy on Reddit: "wHY Is IsrAEl eXpENdinG?!
I swear, anti-Zionist are their own worst enemy when it comes to preventing degenerative brain diseases.

Yeah, I totally believe that people in Antarctica took the time to vote on this.
How about they ask who they’d want trade deals with and see what happens.
