قامت معلمة بمدرسة الشروق الإبتدائية بمحافظة السويس بالإعتداء علي الطالبة حبيبة محمود عاطف طالبة بالصف الخامس الابتدائي بالضرب بعصا خشبية داخل الفصل مما أدي إلي إصابتها بشرخ و كسر في ذراعها اليسري و تم نقل الطالبة إلي المستشفي لتقديم الرعاية الطبية و أستخراج تقرير طبي ، بعد التحقيقات الإدارية قررت السيدة ثريا منصور وكيل وزارة التربية و التعليم بالسويس معاقبة المعلمة بخصم 30 يوم من راتبها و وقفها عن العمل 3 أشهر مع نقلها للعمل في منطقة نائية بالمحافظة لما نسب إليها من إتهامات كذلك في الشق الجنائي تم تحويل الواقعة إلي النيابة العامة . و قد ألتقي محافظ السويس اللواء هاني رشاد بالطالبة و أسرتها لتقديم الدعم المعنوي و الأبوي لهم

Hi I am not Egyptian but I am planning to marry an Egyptian man (In sha Allah) and I really love the name Saffiya. I am a revert Muslim so I chose this name for myself and I told him I want to name our daughter this in the future if we had one In sha Allah and he told me it is an old name and unsuitable. Marhaba! My Egyptian friend told me to try this sub for a question I have, as somebody I spoke to online said a different thing than him.

I’m a probable future tourist in Cairo with my partner. As rules are stricter in Egypt, my question pertains to something more delicate: if we were to have a private friend over, would it be better to choose a hotel or to rent a private apartment?

My friend said a hotel is better. A person with whom I spoke about such a possible meeting said the opposite, that renting a private apartment is better.

Does anyone have any ideas? If you don’t want to comment here, my messages are open.

Tanqeeb is a job aggregator: it collects listings from LinkedIn, Forasna, Wuzzuf, Bayt and other boards. I collected every Egypt listing it showed for the last 30 days (Sep 14 to Oct 14, 2026), 20,133 of the 20,285 it reported, removed duplicates by listing ID, and looked at where the jobs are, who posts them and what they disclose.

1. Cairo has 74% of the listings

Cairo has 14,916 listings, Giza 2,212 (11%) and Alexandria 1,073 (5.3%). Cairo and Giza together: 85%. Every other governorate is at 2.5% or less. One caution: Bayt and GulfTalent label every Egypt listing "Cairo". Without those two boards, Cairo is still at 69.7%.

2. Three boards supply 75% of the listings

LinkedIn is the source of 44.1% of the listings, Forasna 17.1% and Wuzzuf 13.2%. Bayt is next at 11.4%, then Naukri Gulf at 9.4%.

3. Only 8.8% show a salary, and LinkedIn almost never does

Forasna shows a salary on 35.5% of its listings, Wuzzuf 16.1%, Bayt 0.8% and LinkedIn 7 of 8,880 (0.1%). Among the 1,709 listings with a salary in EGP, the median advertised midpoint is EGP 10,000 (10% are under 6,500, 10% over 22,500). Seven in ten of those come from Forasna, so it says little about salaries overall: the Forasna median is EGP 9,000, the Wuzzuf median EGP 15,000.

4. Other things that stood out

• Hotels and call centres: hotels posted 1,719 listings (8.5%, about 1 in 12), counted by company name. Marriott alone posted 713, the most of any company. Call-centre and outsourcing firms (Teleperformance, Sutherland, FlairsTech, Xceed, Concentrix and others) posted 717.
• Sales is the biggest category (13.3%), then IT (11.7%), HR (9.3%) and Accounting/Finance (9%).
• 99% full-time, 97% on-site. Remote or hybrid: 2.6%.
• 99.1% of job titles are in English.
• Gender: most listings don't state one. Of the 2,672 that do, 88% ask for men. Almost all of those are on Forasna (sales reps, storekeepers, warehouse and production jobs).
• Wednesday is the busiest posting day (804 new listings on average), Saturday the quietest (363).

Limits: these are listings on one aggregator, not all jobs in Egypt or people hired. About 13% look like repeats (same title, company and governorate). One listing can cover several positions. A missing salary does not mean a job is unpaid. No personal data was collected (Tanqeeb cards can include recruiter contact details; those were skipped).
