If this is a sign that we might get new Eeveelutions then that’s awesome! But if it means the original Eeveelutions are going to look different aesthetic wise, then that’s cool too!
There is also paintings in nemona’s mansion that have all hinted toward something. One of the paintings has 2 eevee’s on them. So only time can tell for now.
Hot take, I disagree, I like the Eeveelutions representing the special types from gens 1-3, if they added any more they'd ruin that (fairy 100% would have been special if it existed back then)
They already tried making a flying type Eeveelution during the sun and moon era, but couldn’t because it looked to much like fanart. Which is why I think it should be a dragon type that represents both the sky’s above and seas below :)
