I recently went downtown to get dinner at Dooleys since my partner and I liked going there and noticed that it was closed for good and some other place is already taken its place. I didn't hear any news about this and it seemed pretty abrupt since it looked like they were still consistently busy. I am confused by this since I felt like a staple to downtown EC.

I’m an older, non traditional student and won’t want to live near the parties - quiet sounds wonderful - , but I do want to live within a 20ish min walk to campus. Any tips on where to look? This would be short term in the spring semester this year.

It’s our first fall here in WI and I’ve been so excited for the trees to turn. They’re beautiful, but I am from a state where you can usually just go somewhere HIGH and get a view. We’ve had mount simon suggested, which was beautiful, but still hard to find a wide view of the sea of trees! Any suggestions? Climb to the top of the ski jump?? 😆

I want to thank everyone that helped me out by posting job opportunities. I didn’t think I was going to be able to stay here. I was really bummed about going back to my hometown in Iowa. But I managed to work through things and am staying at the apartment until I can get my own. I have an interview Monday with Perrigo and I am stoked!! I love this area and I can’t wait to establish myself here permanently and make new amazing memories!
