Flintheart Glomgold vs Reverse-Flash (DuckTales vs DC)

Connections: Both are arrogant, ruthless, and evil counterparts of the heroic protagonist (Scrooge McDuck and The Flash). They have an unhealthy obsession with their rivals, and want to achieve nothing more than to show their rivals that they are better than them in every way imaginable.

They also based their villainous identities out of imitations of their rivals. Glomgold, who's actually South African, faked being Scottish to compete with Scrooge, and Reverse-Flash was originally a fan of The Flash, who discovered that he was destined to become The Flash's enemy after studying the Speed Force.
