I went to watch my first game not too long back and i loved it! Im trying to figure out how it all works though, i understand the rules of the sport but have no clue about the league tables and game parings. If someone could help explain them to me i’d be grateful ☺️ please be kind to me, i tried googling but it was very unhelpful 🫠

I'm hoping to go to my first eihl game (and first hockey game in person at all) in the next couple weeks. but looking at the map of seats, I've got absolutely no clue on what seats and sections are better on stuff like view

Ik it's probably not something I can know in advance/control but I'm also a bit nervous around the fact I'm a young female fan who's going to be attending alone, and I know the reputation of misogyny towards female fans in hockey, so if there's any way to find out if there's any especially misogynynistic or violent or drunk patches of fans that tend to be in certain sections it would be useful

on a separate note, is it okay to wear NHL merch to non-nhl games? my isles hoodie has orange sleeves so it's halfway there with the colour scheme at least

/s obviously

I’m sorry, I just don’t like this, because who thought this was a good idea?

Each team have played 10 games across the cup and league games (except Nottingham who have only played 9 games) so i decided to take a look at who are statistically considered the most and least dominant teams of the league.

It uses expected goals for and expected goals against. If you're not familiar with this measure it uses the quality of shots to determine how likely a goal would happen.

I post stats like this over on my Instagram (eihlstats) weekly but I would love to know what you think! I'm still very new to hockey stats but decided to merge my two interests together (data and hockey) so everything is a learning curve!

I can also post separately cup games and league games if anyone is interested?

Hi, we are panthers fans and looking to attend the away game at Coventry in a couple of weeks.

It's not clear about the away seats but assuming they are the red box on the seating map, they are fully booked.

My question is, should we book the block closest/infront and if we do can we still wear panthers jerseys?

Or shall we just book decent seats and wear plain clothes? I don't know the away game rules!!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help 🥰

In response to the NHL fan map of the UK, i have been curious to see the EIHL & NHL team crossovers so i made a google form! I will post the results on my tiktok and on X in a few days so if you want to take part or share it that would be appreciated :)

This is a pretty cool survey I saw, be good to see as many hockey fans contribute to this to see who the real most popular team in the UK is (I don’t believe it’s San Jose)

Right, I have had ENOUGH of this. Instead of charging 16 pound per game, why can't the EIHL just make a subscription based service for all games per month and being able to watch the full replays after like DazN. DazN has some NHL issues with blackouts BUT at least they provide some sort of live streams.

It's not our fault that we try to look up dodgy streaming sites, most of them don't work for very long, and I don't care how sad this makes us look, but not everyone can afford 16 pound per game. PER game. It's a lot if you add it up together...

THIS month alone Storm have had I believe 5 away games. LETS DO SOME MATH. £16 per game times 5 = £80 . You wanna spend 80 pounds a month? home games vary by month, but this is an example of how awful this is. SURELY i cannot be the only one annoyed because I keep missing games and I miss Manchester Storm, the team I support playing...

Gotta be some way we can recommend this to the EIHL...
