First independent release 🔥

Edit: so maybe I've had a couple beers and got into my feels.

75 buck for floor legendary.

Escape Halloween is coming up and the lineup is full of names people love to dunk on, zedd gets called generic or basic EDM, steve aoki is the cake guy, excision is just loud and techno is the same loop for an hour and I hear it every time one of these names comes up(or its just my friend ground?)

But when you see one of them live,a song you were lukewarm on drops and thousands of people start losing it at the same second and the bass hits your chest instead of your earbuds andd someone you have never met is screaming every word next to you . You walk out a fan of the exact artist you swore you didnt like and a little embarrassed about it.

I think some artists are built for rooms, the record is the blueprint and the crowd finishes it. I am also not saying every overrated DJ is secretly great live because some are exactly as flat in person. But when it does click, it’s one of the best feelings this music has.

So which artist did you write off on record and then get converted by live? Would really love if you remember the exact moment it clicked and what it felt like

Does anyone have a recording of Dom Dolla’s unreleased track that he played at Head Trip?

They made this masterpiece 21 years ago, its complex, its deep, and its dark. It has amazing sound design and everything flows so naturally. I know electronic music very well and im aware of alot of artists but please share someone you think made similiar leap in sound design, composition and overall vibe like these guys did with this track

It's on Vin Diesel's XXX soundtrack.

Has so many banger tracks yet is barely ever mentioned and only has 200k monthly listeners. I guess bro

Hello everybody! I’m selling 1 itsmurph ticket for Saturday, October 17th at The Shrine LA for $45! Message me if you’re interested :)

I've been listening to electronic music for a long time; however, I've mostly just found some select artists that I like and stuck to listening to those. Sometimes I'll look at lineup flyers for festivals and realize that I barely know anyone on there, let alone what their music sounds like. I've recently gotten into raving/festival-going, so I'd like to broaden my catalogue to enjoy the scene better. Here are some artists I already like listening to:

Early 2010's internet kid: Feint, MUZZ, Krewella, Alan Walker, Marshmello (pre 2019), TheFatRat, Porter Robinson, Tristam, K-391, Lost Sky, Nitro Fun, Pegboard Nerds, S3RL, Vicetone, Slushii

Newer artists I've found within the last 2 years: CHYL, Knock2, IsoXo, Juelz, DnD Music, RayRay, Haus of Panda, kimj, KAYA!, rad cat, The Deep, Frost Children, Underscores, Ninajirachi

I'm open to just about any subgenre of EDM, as long as it's not "sadboy EDM" with sappy lyrics about how much you miss your ex

I just have to say..

Gryffin
Sultan + Shepard
Gareth Emery
Surf Mesa
Armin van Buuren
Eric Prydz

Literally every time I listen to anything these guys make I stg changes my DNA. Idk what it is but I either feel so free and optimistic or so emotional I sob uncontrollably sometimes 😅😅

And what sucks is that the only person who really understands my absolute love for music lives so far away from me so I’m left to feel all the feels on my own

genuinely, so many views and traction at the time, millions of views matter of fact
