Here's the black Duro version. This is fresh, but a tad steep at the moment. But still... I had to get the new model. I wonder if they upgraded something else? Movement maybe? What do y'all think, is there another $95 here when you deduct the $5 strap and $10 Miyota movement?

I posted this build a few weeks ago when I swapped the movement from my MRW200H into my Duro MDV106 case. That left me with the Duro movement without a case, so I bought a replacement case from Aliexpress. I decided to put the Duro back in the original case and use the replacement case for my DUR200 mod. The replacement case came with a ceramic bezel insert, double domed sapphire crystal, crown and a white chapter ring(which I will be using to mod the MDV106 later). I used the dial, movement, movement holder and chapter ring from the MRW200H. Most people will use the Duro chapter ring when doing this mod because the MRW chapter ring is slightly smaller and it leaves a gap between the case and the ring. I don’t like that the Duro chapter ring is thinner so it leaves a large gap between the numerals and the chapter ring and it exposes some marks on the dial that are usually covered by the MRW chapter ring. The replacement case is slightly smaller so the MRW chapter ring doesn’t leave a gap and covers the marks on the dial. Besides MRW200H and the replacement case I also needed a bracelet and a stem. I went with a President style bracelet and I found one that has end links that match the lugs on the case perfectly. The only modifications I needed to do was cut the stem to the correct length and I had to file the edge of the chapter ring down a bit to fit the case better. I also used dial dots to attach the chapter ring to the dial.

I bought the white dial mdv-107 but I was wondering isn't the bezel supposed to be grey??

I first bought the black mdv-107 and fell in love with this watch and bought as well for 48$, it's just too good, looks especially if you upgrade the bracelet, accurate and durable.

I mentioned that I have 8 Duros and another on the way. This shot includes 6 of the current 8. If i keep going I will eventually have to get a case just for Duros.

New to the hobby. did about a week of research before realizing that the Duro was the only answer.

This is my second Duro, first with the marlin. My other Duro is the MDV107 silver dial. Couldn’t pass up the deal off amazon

Oh the duro is too big! Oh this oh that! Man F yourself! Buy it, u won't regret it. The worst that can happen is that you will grow into it and be rocking the best bang for your buck!

For reference my wrist is 16,5cm and I think it suits me good. And even if it looked way to big I would still use it with pride.

What do u think of it? It is really that big that becomes unwearable?!

just bought this and i can’t decide if i like it or if it looks too small.
my wrist is around 18 cm (7inch) but i don’t really like big watches and the full duro 44mm might be too much, opinions?
(i have to order it to try it on since there’s none available in my area)
