Hi all. Recently got back into Duel Masters and dug out my meager collection and found my Kaijudo cards as well. I was super into both games, and thought Kaijudo was incredibly good for an American reboot. The show was fairly well done as well, with decent animation, well-written and likable characters, a super competent villain, and heavy stakes. With the Kaijudo reddit being dead, I was curious what the consensus was on it.

I know there is an english patch for Duel Masters Plays. I would like to know if the card images with the english text are anywhere in the files, so i can print them for irl play.

I recently came across this Duel Masters General Dark Fiend card (27/55), and I’m trying to determine whether it’s authentic, a printing variation, or potentially a counterfeit.

What caught my attention is the holographic finish. I’ve been comparing it to the regular non-holo version, and I haven’t been able to find any reliable information confirming that this particular card was officially released with this foil treatment.

I also have two opened Shobu’s Fire Decks and one still sealed, and I believe this card may have come from one of the opened decks, although I can’t confirm that.

I’m hoping someone familiar with early Duel Masters cards, promotional releases, or printing errors can help answer a few questions:

Was General Dark Fiend ever officially printed as a holographic card?
Could this be a legitimate factory printing error or an undocumented variation?
Are there specific details I should inspect to distinguish an authentic card from a counterfeit or aftermarket foil modification?
Has anyone encountered another copy like this?

I’m not claiming it’s rare or valuable. I’m genuinely trying to establish whether it’s legitimate before making any assumptions.

Just to clarify, I’m not even remotely concerned about its potential monetary value. I have no intention of selling it, regardless of whether it turns out to be authentic, counterfeit, or some unusual printing error.

I’m simply trying to determine where it belongs in my collection. I actually enjoy collecting early 2000s vintage counterfeits and oddities because they’re an interesting piece of trading card history in their own right.

That said, I keep those separate from my authentic vintage cards, and I’d rather not mistakenly categorize a counterfeit as an official release, or dismiss a legitimate printing variation as a fake.

For me, it’s about preserving the history and accurately identifying what I own, not what it’s worth.

Theres a guy online shortening episode of an anime to a few minutes like 1-3 minutes tops. Basicly to keep the important parts of the episodes to be experienced in a digestible quick format I would like someone else try this for Duel Masters? If you have I would like to watch it

haven’t played since like 1st grade, rewatched the English dub and fell in love all over again. got a few friends into it too. Made a fun Volzeos deck with some cool dream rares and a banned Bombazar 🤫. I know duel masters doesn’t have side decks, but I still put some side cards on the 3rd slide, mostly board wipes that can be summoned for free by Dogiragon Reverse Fierce Trump Card. I love these cards so much. the card with the glare on it in the first pic is 4x earth dragon encampment btw lol.

I found these old Duel Masters cards that have been stuck to an almirah for many years. I'm trying to find out whether they are genuine or counterfeit and whether any of them have collector value.

Unfortunately, I can't remove the cards from the almirah without potentially damaging them, so this is the best photo I can currently provide.

Some of the cards appear to be:
