Vivian Constantine [additionally known under her pen name: Reimu Kitamori] is the creator of her self-titled principle and thought experiment, the writer who revamped The Song of Sunyavael, and the central figure of the Sunyavael Mythos. Born into a well-off [and likely Catholic] religious family, she was meant to inherit ownership of the Constantine Church. However, her mental disconnection from reality prevented her from doing so, and she questioned how one can reach the ultimate truth, dedicating her life toward studying philosophy and metaphysics. She's a dreamwalker knowledgeable on the occult and esoteric, leading to her exploring all of reality through dreamwalking.

Constantine's main goal is to deny and reject all deception, find the ultimate truth, and author her own fate, along with coming to understand the origin and meaning of her periodic nightmares and apparitions. At some point in time, she rewrote and modernized The Song of Sunyavael before publishing it, resulting in the disappearances and deaths of the people who completed it. Beforehand, she indulged in writing and created several fictional stories through the perspective of those who have encountered or experienced something unearthly or unfathomable.

During college, Constantine wrote a paper prior to her graduation and submitted it to her professor. It claimed that the human mind and soul are more important and powerful than one might realize. According to her, mankind's cognition might have given form, definition, and purpose to the divine, arguing that their existence is dependent on recognition and acknowledgement from humanity. Without the latter and former, a higher being's influence, impact, and being could be without meaning. Constantine's argument extended toward beings and concepts that can not be definitively proven, mainly an intermediate existence of being and non-being.
