“1-game winning streaks”
Kiké looking pretty upset on possibly his last year with the Dodgers tells reporters the team has to on 1-game winning streaks for the next 4 games.

No shade to them because I truly appreciated their contributions, but it’s time for new blood. Just is.

If this is end of Kike, well he will always be Doyer legend .

For those of you criticizing our guys, they're not going out there trying to lose so stfu and support your team. Yall got to understand that Baseball is hard. Winning a world series is hard.

Exactly. Back to back world series wins and this season there are people calling for heads to roll. Hypothetically, what if this team did win 3 in a row but had the same performance in the 4th year? What then? These assholes are expecting perfection and complaining when it doesn't come in a sport where it's hard to win just one. While this season may not pan out the way everyone wants, the ride was still historic and I've enjoyed it thoroughly. And finally, the season is not over yet and if there's a team to bet on to get out of this kind of jam, it's this one

Man, I remember crying like a little bitch after losing against the Nationals, but even then, I still knew the players probably felt worse. That was before I even knew anything about Reddit. Seeing the stuff on here just makes me feel sick, especially the threats and such. We've been so unbelievably blessed to experience the last two years. It's unreal. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I'm thankful for everything, but hey, we might as well replicate the 2004 Sox and make some history. It's not over till it's over.

It’s been like this from the beginning of the year boys! We “need” to win 8 more! But these first 4 are gonna be worth talking about around the bonfires! LFGDODGERS

Man, I so feel for Kike. It feels like the fate of this series rested on two of his at bats (bases loaded game 1 grounded into double play and then today). Had it gone the other way we could have been up 2-1. Fans are obviously upset, but it is much harder for him.

I know the odds and all that. But I don't want to believe this team is going to rollover tommorow. We got Glas on the mound against a brewers bullpen game with some combination of May/Drohan/Senzatella/kyle Harrison. If the Dodgers can win ANY of the first 4, it's tomorrow. And if we can, then it's Skubs and Yamamoto for the next two. I just don't want to believe in a reality where we completely roll over tommorow. Force a game 5, make them throw Miz out there at the very least! We can't rollover like this 😭 I hope we have at least one "1 game win streak" left in the tank. Just so I can feel hope again

Kiké has been hustling and wasn't given any opps in reg season after injury. Crazy the disproportionate expectations of him compared to everyone else

u/cptainvimes Clayton Kershaw 2h ago
It is just the two biggest at bats of this series fell on him and he came up short in both of them.

Nah it's not on him. He isn't there to be used like glitter when they feel like throwing him in randomly then blame it all on him for not being magic for the entire series to save the team. Team effort or team loses.

This interview doesnt feel like down 0-3, it feels like season is over interview. I know functionally they are similar, but they are not the same

Tomorrow most likely his last day as a Dodger. I'm great full for what he did for the team in the past, but the team needs to turn the page and get younger

I feel like the fat lady is warming up while sitting on the collective chests of the Dodger fanbase. Kind of like that Duncan Sheik song they are barely breathing. Hoping the Dodgers last long enough to get the series back to Milwaukee. Is that too much to ask?

Y'all got nothing to prove to us. If a-hole fans can't be happy with a back-to-back, they absolutely don't deserve a 3-peat. Dogers fan 4 evah!

He just wants to press his junk on another’s Doyer’s again. For not H Mo reasons.

we all love kike. he means a lot to this team.
but he's had maybe the two worst ABs in the NLCS...game 1 hitting into double play with bases loaded...and game 3 striking out with men on 2ns and 3rd and on the verge of breaking it open.
it is what it is...he's been so great for us through the years. but the magic is gone.

Can somone better at the internet create a "1 game winning streak " sort of meme thing? I'm old, I can't. But I genuinely feel us winning 4 games in a row is MORE than possible.

I know we’re not there yet but there’s gonna be a couple of guys that I’d really hate to move away from because of everything they’ve done for us. But I know it’ll be best for the team moving forward.
