Vaelith Arkham: a young drow who fled her home and the destiny that was picked for her, she doesn't know what comes next, all she knows in her family won't let her go easily but she is determined to control her own future… or die trying 

Sasha Volkov: a hexblade blessed (cursed) with a magic sword that tells her that she's a bad person and tells her she's a killer and tells her she killed her best friend (she didn't but she thinks she did) will she overcome the sword that whispers in her ear? and escape from her family

Looking for 1-2 players to join my Eragon dnd campaign. No knowledge is needed before hand but is always welcome if you have any knowledge on dnd or Eragon itself. The sessions are held every Wednesday night around 9pm EST. It uses standard 5e and any 5e books you want to access. If using books outside of the base 5e though, just run it past me first so I can make sure its balanced enough for the world.

Experience is fine but please no meta gaming, min max building, or exploiters (unless the exploit is funny and foesnt break the game). We are all casual and building characters as we go.

There are homebrew rules in play. The biggest one is the magic system:

-spell slots are replaced by mana. -everyone has a base mana as mana is tied to your life force. -using spells uses mana instead so no longer limited on spell slots. -if your mana reaches certain thresholds, you suffer from different conditions. -if your mana reaches 0 or lower, you instantly die as said before, your mana is your life force.

The eragon universe has a heavier lean towards medieval and magic/dragons while keeping it still well into the aspects of a martial/melee character since magicians are rarer to find but not uncommon.

If you are interested in joining in, my dms are open. Ill give anyone who wants to join a series of questions and a couple prompts to see if you will do fine with the current party or if I should make a separate group.

I am an easy going dm and if you convince me well enough ill allow a good amount of things, but I can and will still be strict if need be. Be prepared for your character to die at any encounter as most encounters are designed to be threatening but doable. Everything you fight can kill you with the right rolls so just be prepared in case it happens.

you live on a Island with your fellow people, your life guided via the island wide religion. your life and most of those all around you have been quite good. being a Knoxean of the divinity you have always known other people lurk outside your Islands waters, people not touched by your gods blood, but never questioned you were safe. until they attacked. the no blood's you view akin to demons are killing your people, and taking your land. weeks ago you were in denial but now they close in closer to your kingdom. you the party will be working and fighting for a Nation Island devout in their religious faith, defending themselves from the invaders.

i aim to provide a mostly sandbox, immersive, Roleplay centered experience where you can grow and change your character. so if you like realism, Medieval, and have a strong gut for the horrors of a world in turmoil, i would love to have you.

I truly love sketch comedy and improv (my biggest influences are Nirvanna the band the show and I think you should leave to name a couple) and would love to DM a high fantasy setting I build together with my players that can lean into jokes in a way that makes sense and are never disrespectful! Hello everyone! I'm looking for a specific kind of campaign and DM so I'll try to be as detailed as I can manage decerning just what I'm looking for.

Who I am

I am a 24 year old male, an avid DND player, though I've only ever played 5e, and usually only been a DM. I have been running a very successful 5e homebrew campaign through Discord/Roll20 for going on about 4 years now, and a prior game for 3. For my games I believe in heavily prioritizing player experience, story and roleplay, and while I don't have a particularly technical mind I make up for it with creativity and storytelling. I like to believe I value the time and especially the effort my people put into my game and in return provide the same.

With that being said I understand the intent of this game is for it to be fun. I have a pretty laid back personality myself and can absolutely adapt to most social environments.

What I'm looking for

I want to provide towards a story as a player and enjoy roleplay with my fellow players as well as whatever story a given DM (YOU) are trying to tell. I enjoy combat as well, and believe it is necessary for any game, but my bread and butter is being in character navigating the world and story events. I have many ideas for characters but I believe what sets me apart from other players is I understand that I am meant to contribute to something larger than myself. Being a DM for so long, I hope, will allow me a unique perspective to be an ideal player in your campaign.

With that said I hope to find a DM who takes the game and ESPECIALLY player experience seriously.

What I'm NOT looking for

- I have no interest in sexual content of any kind, "fade to black" scenarios are fine but I cannot abide it otherwise beyond implication.

- If you have a specific ideological or political message regardless of what it is you're going to try to shove down your player's throats I have no interest in that either.

- If you or the other players cannot manage a basic decency respect for one another or their ideas, you will very quickly find I have an extremely low tolerance for that.

- Everyone at the "table" needs to be AT LEAST 20.

- I need everyone to have some level of basic social skills and ability to communicate. Some self-awareness too would be appreciated greatly.
