was in an uber on the way to work listening to Carpet Muncher by µ-ziq and bobby caldwell’s ‘What You Wouldn’t Do For Love was bleeding through my headphones a bit from the driver’s radio but they sounded great together so i rearranged this in a couple of hours :)

I’m referring to the remix by Mefjus and Camo & Krooked. A while back, there was a video on YouTube featuring this track—an edit enhanced with AI, using footage from the opening vampire club scene in the movie *Blade*. It was a pretty badass clip, and the editing worked really well with the music. Unfortunately, it’s been taken down. Does anyone happen to have a copy of this video, or perhaps know where else it might be found?

I can think of Brazilian Sambass and Belgian Jump Up and on the UK scene Bristol has a well defined sound, what other regional styles and sub genres are there out there?

So I’m very nearly 50 and wife and I have only been out a handful of times in last 15 years or so since our daughter born. Thinking of the Planet V day party at Fabric. Used to love the Tru Playaz nights there back in the day. Slightly lost track of DnB since 2010 but still like a dance.

Any thoughts on what the night (afternoon) will be like? No shade on those that like it but modern jump up isn’t quite my thing. Is it likely to be what I think of as classic V tunes?

Thinking stuff like, Keeno's tunes on DARK, Etherwood vibes but with a heavier edge, more subdued technoid tunes like some of Current Value's older stuff.

Not interested in the really gnarly dark stuff like some Ring Noord and Buunshin tracks (although if they have anything with a bit more melody I could be into it - I don't know their catalogues well)
