The narrator has what sounds like a British accent to me.

Anyone else watching true crime series on Prime?

I've gone down a rabbit hole of watching Prime true crime. Death Comes Knocking, Almost Unsolved, Killers: Caught on camera, Cold Case Cops and others shows. The more I watch, the more shows Prime suggests for me. Theres so much! I mean I still watch ID but it seems to be getting harder to find things on ID that appeal to me.

How do you feel about them using an actress for the scenes, then using AI to superimpose Aileen’s face over the actress? It sure seemed real.

Help finding an episode/case

I’ll try to give as many details as I remember, I’m looking for an episode of a show on ID that covered a case about a mother who was murdered by her ex.

Details I do remember:
They had at least two children together
He killed her in the bathtub after she dropped the kids off with him and while the kids were home
His new gf was there and helped / at least knew what was going on
They disposed of her body in those big barrels and buried her on the property of a family member of the gf (in Texas I believe??)
He wrote a song about it / performed it live which they played a clip of on the show

What I don’t remember is the show itself that it was on. I tried googling case details and unfortunately there are more results than I expected that actually fit some of the key details.

I really only ever watched Web Of Lies, Nightmare Next Door, Evil Lives Here and Fear Thy Neighbor.

What's everyone's favourite episode of People Magazine Investigates?

I think mine would be about the i70 killer. I love an extended episode and really hope they catch him one day (if he's still alive).

I enjoyed the one's about surviving serial killers also.

Help Me Find This Show!

I've forgotten what show this was on: Single 35-ish woman says it's time to own her own place. She buys a condo, and shares a wall with a psycho woman who screams nonstop through the wall, harasses her, stalks her, etc. She finally takes legal action. this show was so riveting, but I can't figure out how to find it. Anyone know?

I been watching ID since 2011. I wish ID would make a show about female stalkers. Women stalking men in general. As a guy, that would interest me. I don't see many crime shows covering this topic. It's so rare.

I have watched four separate docs this month on married couples getting murdered when they decide sail the world.

There is no way I’m getting on a boat like that. If I ever remarry, it will be in my prenup. 🛥️⚓️🛳️

Elizabeth Chambers’ blank stare is making Toxic almost unwatchable for me

I get that she has her own story and why that theoretically makes her relevant, but what is she actually contributing as a host? Sometimes it feels like her story is just being capitalized on for relevance. She’s beautiful and incredibly polished, but the blank stare, constant nodding and lack of genuine reaction give me AI-bot energy. I can’t connect to her on a human level at all, and instead of drawing me into the stories, she somehow makes them harder to watch.
