My GoodNotes glow up with my own puffy bookish stickers 🥹📚

Post image
3 Upvotes

I was getting bored of my plain digital planner so I made these puffy kawaii bookish stickers myself!

They have books, bows, coffee and little cats reading - all coquette style.

Would love to know what you all think? Should I add more designs?

I made a cleaning planner where you start from your energy level, not from a to-do list. Does this match how your brain works?

I design digital planners, and I kept noticing that most cleaning systems assume you have the same energy every day. So I built one that starts with a check-in: Fading, Steady or Focused.

  • Fading: each room has a tiny version (make the bed only, wipe the sink only, one pile only).
  • Steady: the full list for the room.
  • Focused: a deeper reset for the days you have momentum.

It also has one-room-at-a-time pages, a 30-night tracker where five minutes counts, and a list of rewards you choose yourself.

I’m not claiming it fixes anything. I’d like to know what actually helps you, and what makes cleaning systems fall apart. Too many steps? Guilt after a missed day? Not knowing where to start? Your answers will shape the next version.

lastGLANCE "People" - because keeping up with your contacts isn't a chore

I've added a People workspace to lastGLANCE v2.11.0, because keeping up with your contacts shouldn't be a chore. This isn't meant to be a CRM for people with serious needs; it's just a quick way to keep track of when you last talked to someone and when you might want to reach out again.

A few people are trying out a planner I made and it's honestly a nice feeling

Post image
2 Upvotes

Been building this for people who find typical to-do apps overwhelming no guilt lists, no streaks punishing you for missing a day. Sent it out to a handful of people this week to actually see how it holds up in real use, not just screenshots.

what's inside:

📥 Dump — type anything, no sorting

🌿 Today — auto-updates daily, only today shows

🕰️ Waiting — overdue stuff, only if you tap it

📥 No date yet — undated tasks, hidden in a toggle

🪫🔋⚡ Energy pages — optional, never required

🏆 Week wins — done tasks, proof you did stuff

Kind of a good feeling watching something you made actually get used by other people.

If you want to try it too, it's $7

Comment "planner" and will send you the planner payhip link

I put together a free Habit Starter Pack for Litak, with four layouts to choose from:

- Habit Wheel

- Monthly Checkboxes

- Habits & Sleep

- All-in-One, with daily, weekly and monthly sections

There are six pages in the pack, including a quick start and a monthly review. The PDFs come in A4 and US Letter. You can print them or annotate them on a tablet.

You only need to pick the layout you want to use. The screenshot shows the actual pages.

The pack is free, with no card or subscription needed. An email is required to unlock the download; the newsletter is optional.

Comment PDF and I'll reply with the link to the pack.

Hey everyone!

I've created a Discord server for anyone who enjoys planning on a tablet, whether it's with PDF planners or just note-taking apps.

We can share our spreads, planning systems, tips and discoveries, or just chat about digital planning.

Let's get together! There aren't that many of us in the planning community, and it can be hard to find like-minded people who share our love of digital planning.

Feel free to join us! https://discord.gg/dsUV4s2BG

GoodNotes nails the writing but still doesn't solve your planning problem

I've used GoodNotes for a long time, and honestly the pen feel is better than paper. No complaints about the writing experience at all. But I kept running into the same wall: what I wrote stayed on the page and went nowhere.

A bullet I drew was just ink. A task I wrote Monday was invisible to my task tracker by Wednesday. If I wanted those items in Notion, I had to retype them, and half the time I didn't bother because it's tedious. The handwritten page and the Notion page stayed disconnected, and whichever one I trusted less slowly starved.

The core issue is that GoodNotes (and Notability, and most iPad handwriting apps) treat your page as a document. The output is a file. It doesn't know what a task is. It can't sync a checkbox anywhere. It won't tell your AI assistant what you wrote today. The pen feel is completely solved. The data problem isn't.

I wanted my handwriting to be as legitimate and durable as my typed notes, not a throwaway that lives in a gallery of images nobody opens again. Tasks should carry forward day to day until I cross them off. Everything should be searchable by what I actually wrote.

That's what pushed me to build Penlog. It's an iPad journal where your notation does the work: a bullet becomes a task, a dash is a note, an X marks it done. Tasks carry forward until you cross them off. It syncs to Notion both ways, and there's an MCP server so AI agents can read your pages and write back to them.

But even setting my app aside, I think the point stands. If you're handwriting your daily plan on an iPad, the bottleneck isn't the pen. It's what happens to the ink after you put the Pencil down. Your handwriting should talk to the rest of your system, not sit in a beautiful silo.

Radial Planner - Task Management

Thumbnail
gallery
24 Upvotes

I've always loved a radial / circle / chronodex calendar, where your day is mapped out on a clock dial as segments of your day.

I know how to "art direct" the idea, but until AI tools, I couldn't make one.

I thought it would be fun to use in a browser. It started with "let me map my day out on the dial..." And then "let me do a week..." then "let me add a list and drag my tasks to a weekly view..." and then... "can I use it with Todoist..."

So now my tasks go to/from Todoist. Or I can make a list of my weekly tasks with an entry like: "Do SEO audit on site Tue 2pm 2h," and it will add a 2-hour block on Tuesday at 2 pm.

Someone said the other day that we're entering an era when, instead of trying to find software to meet your needs, you can create something customized down to the font and color scheme for your own needs!

Here are the files. I provided the files in a folder, or as a .zip of that folder if that is easier.

NOTE: This is local only. Your information is only saved in your browser. (If you clear your browser cache, you'll lose your work. There is a backup function built in if you want to switch computers or something).

You'll just open the index.html file, and it runs in your browser.

Any other tutors using a planner app to manage lessons and appointments?

I’m an English tutor and a beta tester for Adaptive Life, an Android app that combines daily scheduling, notes, and appointment booking.

It lets you see activities and free time in a daily timeline, organize notes, and share a booking link so students or clients can choose an available appointment without creating an account.

I’m interested in how other tutors handle this. Do you use one app for lesson schedules and notes, or keep everything separate? What features matter most to you?

For context, this is the app I’m testing: https://adaptivelife.online/

I built a shared meal planner for me and my wife and now we're approaching 600 users!

Post image
13 Upvotes

A few months ago I realized all the meal planning in our house was falling on my wife. She loves trying new recipes and needs a plan. I'd have been fine eating the same three things forever, so I just let her carry it. When I was going to cook I had to ask "what am I making tonight?" and get pointed to a reel, a sticky note in a cookbook, or a tab she had open somewhere.

So I built us a shared planner. You save recipes from anywhere (Instagram, pictures, websites) into a shared cookbook, drag and drop them onto a weekly grid, and the grocery list builds itself from whatever you planned, sorted by aisle.

I posted it to Reddit and got so many people asking for a link that I decided to pursue putting it on the App Store and it is almost at 600 users. Tiny by app standards but surreal to me that strangers are planning their weeks on a thing I built for the two of us.

Blocks your scrolling until your to-do list of today are completed

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have seen a lot of app blocker apps to stop you from doomscrolling social media. Most of them makes you do something like push-ups or walk a certain amount of steps before.

Well, that’s not bad. But to be more productive, it feels better to actually complete what you intended to do during the day.

I just added this feature to Weeklane and I like it a lot.

Before you get to scroll on the apps of your choice, atleast you get to see your to-do list and what you have left. Hopefully than can help you think a minute before you open it.

What do you think? Any feedback is welcome!

I built a planner that cleans up after itself every Monday 🧼

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I always missed a planner that focuses on the week, not the day. Days are too short to plan, and months are too far away. For me, the week is the sweet spot.
So over the last year or so of late nights and weekends, I built WeekOS. It opens on your week: to-dos, calendar and habits, all in one view. Around it are lists you make yourself, plus one for all the links and screenshots you save (mine is mostly bug screenshots).
The part I'm proudest of is that every Monday it can tidy itself up if you want it to. Whatever's no longer relevant goes to the archive, so you start with a fresh week instead of last week's leftovers.
A few other things:
It runs on iPhone, iPad and Mac, and syncs between all three.
It works with Apple Calendar, Reminders, HealthKit and Apple Intelligence.
There's no account, and you can export your data anytime.
I'm a designer, and I designed and built the whole thing with prompts, with no Figma. I use it every day, from bug screenshots to tracking my piano practice.
I'd really love honest feedback, especially on what's missing or what annoys you. It's on the App Store if you want to try it: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/weekos-weekly-planner/id6752861015

often plan my next day before going to bed, but when I wake up I completely forget about those plans and end up wasting time. I'm thinking about an app that shows you the goals and tasks you wrote the night before as soon as you wake up, and asks you too. What do you guys think, should I try? :)

Digital Keep update: a shorter setup and a sharing practice that sends nothing

Hi, I'm Sorin, founder of Digital Keep. I shared the household-notes beta here last week. Today's update is about reducing the work before your first useful note.

The new setup has three essentials: verify your email, name your vault, and save a first item. Adding people and planning inheritance are optional. There's a fictional plant-care example, a preview while you write, and saved drafts if you leave halfway through.

After that, a practice screen lets you choose a sample recipient, selected items or the whole vault, and a duration. It shows what they would receive without sending an invitation or sharing anything. You can skip the practice.

I'd love to hear from people who manage everyday household information: after saving one made-up instruction, can you find it again and tell whether anyone else can see it? Does the sharing preview make the scope clearer, or just add another step?

If you want to try it, request access here: https://digital-keep.com/?utm_source=productivityhq&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=first100&utm_content=guided_setup_20261012

This is an invitation-only web beta, not instant access. The beta offers 30 days free without a card. Please use fictional information, not passwords or important documents, and don't post your email publicly. The standard vault uses server-managed encryption; a separate E2EE beta vault is available. Automatic inheritance release is disabled. Current controls and limitations: https://digital-keep.com/security

Criticism is welcome; no referral or positive review is required. Wording prepared with AI assistance.

HomeBoard — an open-source self-hosted family dashboard

Post image
50 Upvotes

I've been building my own self-hosted family dashboard and I've finally got it to the point where I'd like other people to start breaking it.

HomeBoard
https://github.com/MooreSi/HomeBoard

I originally wanted something I could leave running on a screen in the house that combined our family calendars, photos, weather and a few useful bits of information without relying on another hosted subscription/service.

Then feature creep happened.

It's now got multiple ICS calendars, continuous calendar browsing, family profiles, shopping/checklists, chores and points, kids' routines, meals, bin reminders, countdowns, photos, weather, RSS, themes, a visual layout editor, portrait displays, scheduled screens/playlists, backup/restore and a PWA-style management interface.

It can run directly under Node, in Docker, or as a Proxmox LXC.

One of the main things I've tried to retain is the self-hosted/local-first approach. Calendar credentials and settings live on the server and it's intended primarily for a trusted home network rather than being another cloud dashboard.

I'm running it myself, but this is very much WIP rather than a finished 1.0 release.

What I really need now is people with environments that aren't mine.

I'd be interested to know:

• Does the install experience make sense?
• Does it behave properly on different displays/tablets?
• What would stop you actually using it?
• Are there obvious integrations I'm missing?
• Is the family organisation side useful or should the project stay closer to being a pure dashboard?
• What have I overcomplicated? 😄

I'd particularly love some testing from Docker, Proxmox and Home Assistant/home-lab users.

Also very happy to have collaborators. If anyone fancies contributing code, integrations, themes, documentation, testing or even just helping shape the direction, PRs/issues/discussion are very welcome.

Repo is here:

https://github.com/MooreSi/HomeBoard

Cheers
