Music Help please
Hello everyone, I’d like to know if this music player is a good choice in terms of battery life, storage, and Bluetooth—thanks!❤️

Hi-Fi Oasis' database of "the best DAPs" is a good place to look for reviews and information. But because you have not given us a specific model number, I cannot specifically comment on the DAP in the picture. The listing for the HiFi Walker H2 (which one reverse image lookup says this is) says it has a maximum MicroSD card size of half a "terabyte", which already rules it out for me. Twelve hour battery life... well, I always take the claimed battery life and cut it down by a third for realism (or halve it for Android), but take that as you will. There are also limits on some of its file format specs that make it a non-starter for me.
I am struggling to find a better option on the database partly because I do not know exactly what you want or how much you are willing to pay (the number of cheapskates who come to this sub and then get surprised at the myriad limitations of players they can get for sub-100 USD is ridiculous). But if I have identified the player in this photo correctly, adding another 85 USD to the player budget and springing for the HiBy R3Pro II will get better results. Four times the MicroSD storage capacity, and HiBy generally has much better Bluetooth support.
I really hope you can find what you are looking for, but based on specs, I would not recommend the player I think is in this photo.

I've had mine for 2 years now and it's been a great companion. I am moving onto an MP3 player, but I've enjoyed my time with the H2. That said, I don't have anything to compare it to; it's my first and only DAP.
The Bluetooth isn't the greatest. At least not on my unit. All throughout it's life it's randomly disconnected and reconnected, or had trouble pairing. If you absolutely must go wireless, this might not be the best choice, and I'd search around for a better alternative.
Storage is expandable up to 512 GB (I think) and for me that is more than enough; I surprisingly only have 2.5 GB of music. Battery life is good, but mine's started to degrade and won't hold a charge quite as long anymore. Despite that, I charge mine maybe once every... 7-10 days? I can't complain.
So all in all, I don't think it's a bad choice and owning one has been a (mostly) positive for me. But I can't imagine this is the best there is, even at it's price point. Just my 2¢.

I have this as my first DAP and I like it so far. I only ever need to charge every two weeks or so for my usage (maybe half an hour a day in the car, and the odd 1-2 hour listening session every week or so).
however, Bluetooth might be a hassle. It works just fine on the stock OS, but a lot of people install Rockbox on these since it’s a better interface and has custom themes. the Rockbox devs haven’t gotten Bluetooth working with it. but you can dual-boot both, stick with the stock OS, or if you’re willing to tinker there’s been a couple recent posts from people who made mods for it. I use wired headphones most of the time and only use Bluetooth for the gym, so dual-booting works fine for me.
