Waited a while for this one. It's one of my dream cars, so I figured I'd build it the way I’d do my own. Sitting on a set of white Advan TC4s for that clean, color-matched look.

I got this set for 70 euros from porsche museum even though its orginal price was 219 euros.

Maisto really delivered with this 1:18 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS. The panel gaps are surprisingly tight for this price point, and it even includes functional spring suspension, which gives it a nice realistic weight on display.

The interior details are great too, and the plastic seatbelts surprisingly have a little bit of give to them when you touch them. The Targa roof panel is removable, and as you can see in the first photo where it's opened, you can actually store the roof right under the lifting rear glass hatch. That's a really neat functional touch at this price level.

The color is officially called Cartagena Yellow Metallic, but in reality, it leans green most of the time, shifting into a subtle lime/greenish hue under standard lighting rather than showing as a pure yellow. It definitely gives the model a unique presence on the shelf.

How do you guys feel about Maisto’s recent 1:18 Porsche castings, and what are your thoughts on this color choice?

Hi, I had found this lighter at a flea market in Portugal and I dropped it and broke it, does anyone have knowledge as to what company made this? there are no markings or logos?

I have classified my 1.64 in 3 categs : box (mini gt) (entry) , acrylic screwed box (lcd model, cm model, time micro) (mid range), and ultra detailed (ar box, motorhelix, pgm) (high-end). I am confused how to display the acrylic screwed models. if i keep them screwed and display, they look uneven due to different box sizes, my plan is too buy a premium leather base display case and unscrew all and put them in the display cases. but i use blue tack and it will look shabby and will leave residue everywhere if i use it for sticking acrylic screwed models to it. And if i buy too many, wont it look shabby? HELP ME GUYS 😭✌️

It is my first one from Cult Models, and my first sealed resin model. I am nicely surprised by the level of detail and the "heaviness" of the model, just like the real car. I have never seen one in real life, but I think the proportions are quite right.

This can be considered the first "modern" AM before the introduction of the DB7. It was the flagship in the model range, and occupied the space of the modern Vanquish. A bit underdeveloped and a parts bin special, but a very beautiful car nevertheless. The 2001 Vanquish borrows many design cues from this car.
