I'm planning on playing this for the first time and I want to play it with someone who takes time to read things and think about what decision to make.

I finally was able to play the game after watching so many people play it cuz my friend let me borrow her old PS4. I just finished earlier today. So here are the results.
Markus: Alive and lead a peaceful revolution
Kara, Alice, and Luther: Alive and escaped to Canada
Connor: Alive, deviant, and good relationship with Hank
Hank: Alive and good relationship with Connor
Jericrew: All alive
Side notes: I didn’t get the 28 stab wounds cuz I accidentally clicked “probe memory”. I took 4 tries to get everyone out alive in Crossroads. I accidentally killed Connor and could not accept that so I went back, accidentally killed Josh and North, went back again, accidentally killed Connor again (the same way), finally my friend (who was watching me play) suggested changing the difficulty to Casual, that helped cuz after the 4th try I got everyone out alive. Had to break the rule of never restarting a chapter but I don’t care. I got a good ending!

During Last Chance, Connor we see the bodies of deviants all on the wall in the evidence room; depending on your choices of who died or was killed the number of androids is sparse or is full of bodies. So my question is why are some deviants blind while others aren’t?

Connor | Beyond the Code : Au-delà du code.
Pour ma part, trois chansons me viennent particulièrement à l'esprit. Chacune représente une étape de son évolution :
🎵 Reed Wonder feat. Aurora Olivas : The Machine.

I haven't looked much up about the game but I just heard it's very choice heavy. Does it have walking and/or driving and shooting mechanics e.c.t?

Started playing again a few days ago and I feel retraumatized from this mission 😣

(Connor simply fainted, and he will recover soon.)
Rupert jumped down from the attic and collided with Connor, knocking him out on the spot. I think Connor is adorable when he tries his best but still fails the mission.
There's this cartoonish expression of little birds flying above the head when someone is knocked out. I think it'd be very funny if I change the little birds into pigeons.😂
I chose to draw this in chibi style which I'm not very familiar with, but I think it suits the facial expression the best.

I finally played the game, it got me hooked for hours and I super love it! Then I decided to check my baby connor in Pinterest then my whole being got disturbed with the amount of thirst trap pics of Connor! 😭 nooooooooooooooooo. I get that he is cute, but the fanbase is so wild for that. I also found a comment in Pinterest that says he looks like Charlie kirk 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Can deviant Connor go visit Hank TW: self-harm before he commits suicide?

0% depressed rolling to dodge like soul games but 100% worried entire time about the decision. Everything in this game just too good, should i side with Robots if they "become human" irl?

Every 5 playthroughs I find something I've never seen before in this game.
This let me finish a run where machine Connor doesn't die at all.

I just wanted to say it. They are just so damn good. Markus Alone, The Painter, Shades of Grey, Run with Me. Am I the only one?

so you’re meaning to tell me that this dude voiced a depressed alcoholic detective and a fallen living legend whose lost all of his cyberware and is now called weak and then he plays as a money obsessed fast food crab owner

I just finished Detroit: Become Human, and honestly, I’m feeling pretty frustrated with how my playthrough turned out.
After the halfway point, I just wanted to watch the story unfold. I didn’t want to keep making choices that might lead to an ending different from the one I had in mind: no deaths, everyone safe, a happy ending. I tried to make the right choices whenever it mattered, occasionally looking up guidance along the way, hoping to reach that ending.
But in the end…
[SPOILER]
I chose Markus’s peaceful demonstration instead of attacking the camps, and… do all the androids there just die? Am I supposed to imagine that only a handful of the ones who escaped or went into hiding survived, and that 90% of the android population was wiped out?
And then Connor shows up with thousands of newly freed androids, all lined up, with the same face. I don’t know why, but seeing that right after everything that happened felt so weird. After watching so many androids die, it was like they were just being replaced by a whole new group, as if all those lives lost were just numbers. And the city gets evacuated? That’s it? That’s how it ends?
I tried so hard to save everyone, hoping for a clichéd, happy ending, and I didn’t get the one I was looking for.
I know I can go back and replay the game, choosing to attack the camps instead, but I’m not sure how much of a difference it would make, and honestly, I don’t really feel like replaying everything right now. Is it worth it? Would I finally get the happy, clichéd ending I was hoping for?
[SPOILER]
And then there’s Connor.
I’m in love with this man. HELP. 😭 He’s so cute. (Not romantically, just… I adore him and I need MORE of him.)
I want to see him talking, investigating cases, being awkward around people, and arguing with Hank. They make such a fun, classic buddy-cop duo. Hank’s grumpiness and Connor’s sometimes unintentionally funny behavior are a huge part of what made the game so enjoyable for me.
I finished the game and my main thought was: That’s it? That’s all I get? I wanted more cases, more conversations, more moments between them. I really wish there were an entire game just about Connor and Hank working together as detectives. Or even an endless series. I’d happily play case after case with those two.
I usually just take games as they are. Whether they’re simple, full of tropes, trying to say something or not, well-written or badly written, I just enjoy them.
So I’m not really here to critique the game or debate its themes. I just feel frustrated with how my experience turned out, and the story didn’t go the way I wanted.
Does anyone else feel the same way?
Anyway, I did enjoy playing it. I love you, Connor. I will miss you. 😭❤️

I just finished the chapter where connor locates Jericho in the evidence room. I wanted to add my take on this game as someone playing it in a time where AI is now widespread. I felt i had a reason add my take, because i don't think i'm consuming
Living alongside AI now, has given me a strong anti stance against all artificial intelligence, which completely shapes my experience of this game. I feel no remorse nor sympathy for any of the androids. I tried to sabotage Markus' and jerichos cause in any way i could, intentionally losing the protest fight, and commiting suicide with Markus.
After getting a strong negative opinion "sentient" AI due to various real world scenarios and factors, I feel like im completely missing a key aspect of this game. I'm never conflicted about killing Androids, as i truly believe machines should never be sentient or humanized. I care about Alice and must admit i feel some attatchement to Kara, but if it stood between AI domination/living with them harmoniously, i would ultimately kill her. It kinda hurts to be hated by Hank though, as he gains a very negative opinion about Connor when i play him as being comepletely on humanitys side.
Just wanted to add my 2 cents to the discussion, as im certain i would have played through this game VERY differently had it been 5 years ago.

I previously made a post about the first book in this series and now my girlfriend has gotten me the second one for my birthday !!! I’m so very excited to dive into this one
