Tap Joy
I just noticed that games are back in the Tap Joy offer wall. I downloaded Royal Match, met the first requirement, and did not get the reward. I have submitted a help ticket. We shall see! So frustrating, as usual.

Complaint Too Many Requirements
I've been playing this game for almost 10 years and have a large inventory. Lately, I have not been able to enter a challenge without having to buy something due to the requirements. For example, it used to be, style with a Kathy Kuo dining table is now, style with a white, weathered Kathy Kuo dining table. Every single challenge where there are requirements and all the requirements...I have none of them.
Also, the options available often don't even make for a nice, cohesive room!
Add insult to injury, the prizes aren't great so I don't enter them. That means I save on decor and invetory. How does this benefit EA?
Anyone else feel the same?

How often does old decor come back?
Fairly new player here! I’ve been looking through some of the old seasons (not been a fan of the cottagecore and the more recent Halloween stuff), and some of the older style challenges were gorgeous (I’m a huge fan of the Gatsby style art and other luxe styles, and Mediterranean.) I noticed that every now and then I’ll get a message with offers “from the vault” and wondered how often this happens? Considering whether or not to pack this game in or to wait out the season and save my diamonds…

Well...this was an interesting surprise 🙂
Wasn't expecting a 5 but a mid 4 for sure as I left 9 unfilled bubbles

Last five 5⭐ rooms. Plus my last 5⭐ landscape. 😀

recent rooms with this deep, rich red 🍷🥀🧱☺️
the couch and the matching chair in the first photo…. that color is so strong and deep I LOVE IT.

Successfully hid a chair. 🤭
The chair in the back was a requirement and I only had one of them. I thought it blended well into the background but wasn’t certain that this would work! This was voted on by humans too.

Loved the end result 🧡
Did a few different versions but was happy with this final look.

I would love to see someone who was able to make this room ‘rustic’ - because it wasn’t me:

A smidge spooky 🕸️💀👻
I actually didn't mind this one. Not a fan of themed rooms, but this one wasn't too bad 🥰

DH Discussion How are we feeling about the art that has been being released? I genuinely think they are AI generated.
I’m kinda fed up. Are they really wanting us to pay for low effort packs that have a really familiar AI style? Like if these are supposed to be designer pieces, they are absolutely missing the mark.
Especially the brushstroke style “paintings” like these look like how AI would generate paintings a year or two ago.
Here are some of the more obvious examples I can find to share.
I would love to hear if there is a real, human artist behind these to prove me wrong. But I doubt it, I did reverse image searches on a few and the options that came up were the Design Home examples.
If they are doing this to save money from using real artists, and to easily cop out of looking for actual artists that matches the theme is genuinely pathetic. They are making a ton of money off this game, they can afford to support real people.
I apologize if this has been brought up before, but I definitely needed to vent. I’ve been playing since 2017, and it’s sad watching this game get slowly worse, and more expensive.

Complaint Let me just rant about the canvas challenge...
I will say this: I do love the Canvas challenge (always did like the "paint the artbook" games), but the way they changed them just sucks now
For 1, it's fewer days; Each Canvas was a good 2 days each; this one was like 4 days for 9 canvases. I'm sorry; that's not enough time, especially since the main month series is going on
The paints are way more; yes, I get that spending 10-15 in cash can add up, but the new canvas coins cost more ( you get 1 for every blue and 3 for purple; even if you average room total is 15k, you only get about 20 coins, and each paint is still 15...)
also you had to use more this time around: while I liked the more detail, the new coins system is a ripoff; it costs more, so you have to design more, aka use up keys, money, and diamonds just to have to use more paint in challenges
ngl if they keep this next time, I'm probably going to stop playing Canvas

my designs are basic & monochrome & I like it.

Game improvement suggestion here 🤓
Aside from filtering products by price point, something else that would make the game easier (at least for me) would be to save items that you find when you search that you like but don't want to use it right away or don't have the funds to purchase them at that time 💸.
A nice folder for all the items you want and may use later. Am I the only one who desperately needs something like that? I hate seeing something cool when I browse but I can't buy it just yet either because: it doesn't quite work for the space I'm designing that moment, and or I need to hurry up and be done designing the space, or I don't have the gems to get it then 😮💨.
I hate leaving beautiful peices behind hoping I'd find them later when I need them 🫤

Design Home is becoming far too expensive to play, and something needs to change!
Hi everyone! ❤️
I wanted to bring this up here because I know I’m not the only one feeling this way. I’ve been seeing so many players on Facebook expressing the same frustration, and I think it’s time we, as a community, made our voices heard.
Design Home has become ridiculously expensive to play. It never used to feel this way, but lately, it seems like almost every new challenge requires expensive furniture, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up without constantly spending money.
One of the biggest frustrations is that we’re expected to buy expensive pieces for specific challenges, only for those items to rarely, if ever, be useful again. Why aren’t more challenges being designed around furniture we’ve already purchased? We spend our diamonds and cash building up our inventory, yet it often feels like we’re starting from scratch with every new challenge.
I’m trying to complete all the Season Challenges, but at this rate, it’s becoming almost impossible. I can barely afford to keep up with those, and I can’t even enjoy Tablescaping anymore because of how expensive it has become.
On top of that, we rarely get double rewards or other opportunities to replenish our in-game cash and diamonds at a reasonable rate. We’re spending more and more to participate, but there aren’t enough opportunities to earn those resources back. It’s becoming a constant struggle just to keep playing.
And I’m seeing players say that once this year is over, they won’t be playing anymore. That should be concerning, because surely the goal is to keep players enjoying the game, not to make it so expensive that they eventually give up.
So, here’s my suggestion: let’s make our voices heard directly to Design Home.
If you’re also frustrated with the rising costs, please consider sending Design Home a message through the game to explain how you feel. The more players who speak up respectfully about the same issues, the harder it will be for our concerns to go unnoticed.
We can ask them to:
- Make challenges more affordable and accessible.
- Create more challenges that use furniture we already own.
- Offer more double-reward events and opportunities to earn in-game cash and diamonds.
- Make Season Challenges and Tablescaping achievable without having to spend so much.
- Give players more value for the furniture they purchase.
We all love this game, and that’s why we’re still here. We want to enjoy designing beautiful rooms, participating in challenges, and being part of this community. We shouldn’t have to feel that playing the game we love has become a constant financial struggle.
I’d love to hear what everyone else thinks. Are you also finding it harder to afford challenges? Have you considered quitting because of the rising costs?
Let’s speak up together! ❤️ If enough of us share our concerns directly with Design Home, perhaps we can encourage them to make the game enjoyable and affordable again.
Please share your thoughts below, and if you agree, consider sending them a message too.
