Coming to the fragrance, THIS SMELLS SO GOODDD. It’s super uplifting with that fresh marine, aquatic vibe blended with woody notes and an aromatic touch. Smells so refreshing on the skin and I’m genuinely loving it. I’m a huge fan of the Acqua di Gio line anddd this is actually my 4th oneee and honestlyyy I think I like this even more than the regular Acqua di Gio Parfum. There’s just something about this one that hits different. Alsooo that deep blue glossy finish hits different. Such a gorgeous looking bottle

Haven’t tested the performance properly yet, so can’t comment on the longevity or projection for now. Gonna wear it for a full day and see how it holds up. Anyone else prefer Profondo Parfum over the regular Parfum?

I used to watch some of his videos quite a long time ago and I pretty much liked his content but now I keep seeing these weird ass reels of his on yt, wtf happened to him and also, why is he using this Indian song in so many of his reels?

This might sound like an unusual request but hear me out. There is this guy who I hate but keeping him happy is essential for business. Very pompous and Condescending character. Every Diwali he expects some big gifts in the 10-20K range from all his vendors. He is the purchase manager of a large company. Nothing under the table, even if we don't give anything the order belong to us, but he can create random nuisances like delaying the bill etc

I don't want to spend money on him though. The guy does not understand P of perfumes and given his character, unlikely to gift as well. But a big designer name is gonna impress him and he is gonna check up the price and feel happy he is being respected by his vendors

Now that I told the backstory, do any of you know a place where I can buy a fake Tom ford / Armani / Louis Vuitton / Versace / Dior for less than 2K? The bottle and presentation should look good, even if the perfume is 50-60% smelling the same it's OK.

Tried the 2 ml samples first, liked what I smelled, and finally pulled the trigger. Honestly, this is the best TDH clone I’ve tried so far. For me, it beats the greenish Fattan, Terra, and the Maison Alhambra version.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my long term thoughts on 4 of my regular perfumes in my collection. Here is how they actually hold up

Nina Ricci mademoiselle (₹6,000): I bought this about two years ago and it remains one of my absolute favorites. On clothes, it lasts around 5 to 6 hours and projects noticeably for the first hour. Casually speaking, it smells like a gorgeous, romantic walk through a fresh rose garden. It opens up with a burst of raspberry and pink pepper, which quickly blends into a smooth heart of rose. The dry down feels incredibly soft, intimate, and comforting. It is playful, addictive, and earns a solid 9/10 from me.

Ministry of Sillage – Project Coco (₹999): I am already on my second bottle of this gem. I honestly did not expect such premium quality for this price point. It is inspired by Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, opening with a sparkling burst of citrusy orange before settling into an elegant blend of spicy florals. It lasts an impressive 6 to 7 hours, projects for 1.5 hours, and features a really cool, unique glitter shimmer effect inside the juice. This one is an absolute steal at 10/10.

Ministry of Sillage – Project Flora (₹999): This is my second pickup from the brand and it matches the performance of Project Coco perfectly, giving me 6 to 7 hours of longevity and 1.5 hours of projection. It is inspired by Gucci Flora, carrying a refreshing, casual floral basket scent. It is a very pretty, airy daily wear fragrance that gets an 8/10.

Bla Bli Blu – Vetiver Oud (₹699): I grabbed this one on an offer, and honestly, the performance is not very good. It only lasts about 2 to 3 hours on clothes and drops off projection after just 30 minutes. The scent itself blends dry rose with amber and a light oud, which works okay for just a quick casual spray around the house. While the longevity is weak, the sleek bottle design is nice for the price point. Giving it a 5/10.

So i got Hawas og from myntra for 2.2k around and i wanted to check if it is legit or not, it is my first time purchasing a fragrance from myntra. The seller was supercomnet / sharaya cosmo care.

As i said it is my first time purchasing a middle eastern from myntra, so please tell me if it authentic or not.

Please no offence but please wear a decent perfume in gym. People bath in the strongest ones in gym and its headache inducing.

Did anyone ever try out the perfumes from this brand called KALAKARI? How's their performance in terms of longitivity or sillage?

Jimmy Choo Man Blue: This was my first fragrance and hence was not an educated buy, I bought it off of the opening itself but the dry down is really addictive, it's a rather simple scent- fresh opening and leather and vanilla in the dry down, but it smells really well blended and expensive. The longevity tho is not much along with the projection, it becomes a skin scent after 45 mins and lasts for a couple of hours on my skin.

Ibraq blue oud: I bought this looking for an oud prominent fragrance and it was a blind buy, it smells like a really masculine attar to me and the animalic note provides a really nice depth in the opening and I did not find it pungent/funky at all, in the dry down I can smell the leather and oud very well, followed by tobacco and then a very very slight amber note and some spicness. It smells warm and masculine. This thing is fucking potent....1-2 sprays max, anymore would be lethal.

Afnan SCE: This right here is my favourite, the pineapple note is the star of this perfume for me. It opens up with pineapple right in your face with some florals and as it moves towards the dry down, the pineapple tones down a bit and along with the musk and oakmoss, the pineapple note hits a spot I didn't even know existed, lasts really long, can smell it on my wrist even 24hrs later and projects for several hours.

Ibraq French Tobacco: This opens up really fresh and citrusy and as it reaches the drydown, it becomes a fresh-woody scent, the performance is not that much, I guess that's due to it being almost brand new. Not much to say about this but it just smells really nice and pleasant, this has been THE summer fragrance for me since it arrived. Overall a very safe blind buy if you like fresh scents.

CK Obsessed: This and zara silver are the neglected child of my collection, got this from my cousin as he did not like, it's a nice fresh-vanillic scent and is ideal for summer evenings for me. The performance is similar to that of man blue, just a tad bit better

Zara Silver: This is my only failed blind buy. It smells generic as hell, lasts like a fart in the air- I sprayed 15(maybe even more) sprays of this thing before leaving the house and couldn't smell it on my clothes or skin just an hour in. This fragrance is the sole reason I don't have any other zara fragrance.

Hey guys, I've been collecting perfumes for over 2 years now, but I've never really tried layering. Till now, I've always used one perfume at a time, sometimes applying Vaseline or moisturizer before spraying. That's pretty much all the hacks I've learned so far

Now I want to explore layering and understand how to do it properly.

I've read that Hawas Ice + Afnan Supremacy Collector's Edition (SCE) is a good combo. For those who've tried it, how does it smell, and how do you layer them? Which one should I spray first, and how many sprays of each?

Also, I have YSL Y, Hawas OG, Turathi Blue, Coolwater ,Tommy Hilfiger ,La di da , JPG Ultra Male ,khamrah Qahwa, Mancera CB and Marwa in my collection. Any good layering combinations with these?

Would love to hear your suggestions and personal experiences. Help a fellow fraghead out!

I am back with my anecdotal reviews. Since the last post, I had been quite busy. This review are for all those, who are new to this hobby and one way or another have heard about the Rasasi Hawas OG and the ICE, these two, in my humble opinion gave Rasasi the boost needed to be in mainstream.

A Note of Caution: I do not have experience of smelling the Original versions from whom these Middle-Eastern brands cloned. So this review is simply a standalone and a purely isolated review of the Afnan's Supremacy Collector's Edition.

The year being 2007 or 2008, I do not remember quite well, so my uncle (my mother's brother), recently got a job, and he had bought a Wild Stone Aqua Fresh, like every other youngster back then used to get their hands on Wild Stone. Those were some good old days. And that kind of scent profile, I do not think Wild Stone ever got it right ever again. It feels like they some how just got it right, but forgot to pen it down, and their secret lab gutted by fire ended the creation of an amazing scent. The scent is like a nostalgia for me. And the destiny behold, told me the Rasasi Hawas OG might be to you liking. Blind Bought it. And was taken a back. I would not say Aqua Fresh and Hawas OG are similar, but it kind of took me back to the past, the moment I took a sniff of my forearm.

Now the review shall have two, one hopeful another sugarfull....

First Sniff: The First sniffs felt like nostalgia, and I would imagine an ocean, not a beach, but an ocean. Before you went for a little trip towards the horizon, you had a good and relaxing bath with a good citrusy soap smell sniffing out of your clothes. Imagine you are taking a stroll on the beach, and you encounter a person who is carrying a crate mixed with green apple and plum, but they are not that ripened yet, you help the old man. That conglomeration of citrus and green apple's subtle sweetness, takes you off guard.

Second Sniff: You now decide to take some rest on the beach side, you had some fruits on your small little bag pack gifted by the old guy for helping him; one being, green apple and the other being plum. You cut the fruits open and they are already ripened, and the ocean is amplifying the smell of green apple and the Plum, through the process of cutting and eating some bits of juice fall on your shirt, and the aquatic notes that proliferated into the subconscious realm starts doing its play. Moreover the ambergris from the whales puddling the ocean as their personal swimming pool, creates a very soothing afternoon aroma in the vicinity. And with ambergris and all the marine elements, its obvious that the egginess would try to include itself in the musical notes of aroma.

Third Sniff: The afternoon is coming to an end, the aroma has settled down, the egginess is not bothering, the mineralic nature of the ocean has settled down, the aquatic freshness and the citrus all have left, for today's work is done. The ambergris and the green apple are having a weird kind of olfactory play and the sweetness is playing the instruments from behind. Feels funny, but makes it more calm and you just want to sleep over it, and wake up late in the evening.

That ends the journey of this Scent and shall continue tomorrow with another trail...

I have tried to review two fragrances in one shot, since both are similar in 80% of the aspects and ingredients. And the by the looks of the juice in the bottles, I just love OG. I always wear ICE when layering with Afnan's Supremacy Collectors Edition, the crazy sweetness of ICE and the Pineapple, is just addictive, especially to me.

The protagonist in Hawas OG is Aquatic, fresh, minerallic, and egginess scent profiles. The first few sprays, gives you that loud minerallic scent, but as it transitions from the mid to the dry down, a mellowed sweetness covers a thin layer above the aquatic and minerallic nature of this scent profile. And in the proper dry down, the scent is more defined with only two characters left i.e., the plum and the sweet ambergris.

Hawas ICE on the other hand, is like dense sugar sweet, more citrusy at the top note. And Hawas ICE for me is a living example why sweet ambryness is just a deadly combination for any fresh scent profile. The sweetness and amber coupled with watery freshness, is so dominating that the minerallic and the marine nature takes the backdoor. Rasasi tweaked it in such a way that both the OG and ICE can only be distinguished through their characters. If OG is gentleman, then ICE is the new money guy. The difference is very much comparable with the Coke and Diet Coke analogy. Personally I feel, OG is more pronounced and its better we keep it untouched from the evils of the sweetness, and ICE feels in a way like a desperate attempt to quench thirst by having a sugar syrup instead of lemonade at the least.

Hawas ICE is good way to uplift your mood, if you are feeling off from the start of the day, whereas OG will try to keep your personality at the forefront, a more matured and gentle downed way of people with money show.

My dad (who is a seasoned frag head himself, even during the pre social media days) was decluttering hus perfumes and gave me one he didnt really want anymore. Safe to say I have received so many compliments over it in the past 3 days of me wearing it. Relatives, strangers in the metro, my boyfriend.

It is the Swiss Arabian marhaba sa. I reallt wanna get a bottle of it for myself but i CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE 😭. Attaching a photo here for ref so if anyone knows where to find it they can lmk in the comments.

So I got decants of these 2 and another from a community seller (Imran Farooqui) and their performance has been subpar. Smells decent but doesn't last longer than an hour on skin, no projection whatsoever.

Is this how these two perform or I'm missing something. Would appreciate any insights from people who own/have owned or at least tried these.

I wouldn't call myself a fragrance buff.

The current ones I'm using are a Villain (Snake) which I bought cause I liked the brand (Hydra fragrance) before and a Soleil (oud/attar subtle notes). I've used the Perfumers Club Aqua cool before and liked it as well.

From my experiences with fragrances so far, I tend to like subtle, lighter intensity rather than something on the strong side. I don't think I am only okay with earthy or flowery notes.

I've been seeing a lot of ads on Instagram for the Murasaki Bookstore fragrance from House of Kanzan and had bookmarked it later. My birthday is coming up, and I'm considering buying that or the limited edition Memoirs of a Barista.

I'm okay to spend 1.5-2k at max on one fragrance to start with. Since it's like a birthday present to myself, I don't want to test out samples. If I want to explore more, I would try getting samples to broaden my understanding of fragrances and what I like myself.

Please let me know how is House of Kanzan and are these fragrances nice.

I recently ordered a discovery set from Ababel as many of the reviews found it better than Menworks.

I cant even smell a single note. For example if I compare Bourbon Vanilla with 24th eve, I sprayed 5-6 times and all I can smell is spirit and hints of bourbon. Its the same for the other 4 as well.

Should I let them mature for 20 days as they say on a note provided with the set? or is it a quality issue that I should get replaced?

Okay, so i own both Matrix and SNOI, and i genuinely don't understand how one is glazed like anything while the other is never talked about.

To my untrained nose, they're ridiculously similar. Like, if you own one, you already know what the other smells like.

I actually asked a few of my friends who know absolutely nothing about fragrances to smell both and pick their favourite. Every single one of them chose Matrix over SNOI.

The fruity sweetness is more prominent in matrix and the mossiness doesn't hit me as hard as it does with SNOI. I love both of them but Matrix is definitely easier to like.

Matrix also performs better for me, with stronger longevity and projection. That said, this could partly be because my bottle has been sitting on my shelves for months, while my SNOI decant is new and may need more time to mature.

Oh and did i mention that matrix costs roughly half as much as SNOI.

Hi, I made an order of Ruh Khus on the AttarsIndia website on 14 Oct and I made my payment via UPI. Generally we get details about when to get the order but in this case I didn't get any except the system generated confirmation mail. This is my first time buying from them and that's the reason I'm a bit skeptical. Please shed some light on this matter.

I was into very mainstream and cheap fragrances previously, as I had no idea about premium and good ones. A few months ago, I got a cheap KS spark perfume worth 75rs. I liked the smell initially even if it was super strong, until my sister entered the room. She bashed me left right and center, saying wtf is wrong with you, why would a person having a job and not being broke buy a fragrance like this. I dismissed her, telling her she loves spending on stuff for no good reason.

Then she showed me a dupe she brought from a shop near her previous organisation. It was a dupe of L’Eau De Toilette, and man o man did I love that thing. Me and my cousin were roaming around wearing a women's perfume all day like idiots xD. That's when my sister technically begged me to get a couple of good perfumes for myself.

I checked out the website she suggested and I asked ChatGPT to give suggestions, one for daily office usage and one for special occasions/date nights. It suggested me Azzaro Most Wanted and Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Media Cologne Forte Eau de Parfum (I copied this name from the website, I would twist my tongue thrice if I actually said it lol).

I liked most wanted, it gives such a sweet and rich feeling. The second one, I was initially unsure about it due to it fennel notes, but I ended up eventually liking it. Needless to say, I'm never going back again to the ones I used before xD.

After this, I started looking up for perfumes online and came across this subreddit. Needless to say, I love the opinions and the discussions here. Very insightful!

End of rant. Also, I'd love if you guys would suggest me something that smells very calming and soothing for daily use, like the smell of oceans and watermelon rind. Thanks in advance!
