I have max anti gravity units which is normally ridiculous already but this was just…. otherworldly. Is there a method to reproduce this reliably?

A few days ago tried to, well, you know. It's been too tough to bear lately. Things aren’t looking up, got some bad dental problems keeping me down, social stuff with family feels too hard. It's hard to see why I would keep going. Tomorrow seems far away.

So to keep myself occupied I'm going to be on DS1, delivering through the good and bad. I've never played before but I know a lot of minor elements of the story and I'm about halfway through the game I think, maybe 60%, still working on zips and currently headed to Mountain Knot with Mama.

I'm making this post mostly for myself I guess but I wanted to say, if you're on PS4 (I'm on the basic version of DS1 with a PS4 Pro) I'm going to be delivering and picking up people's lost stuff and cultivating my Strand Links (there's a lot of data in the cufflink if you look at your own stats, wow, I didn't know I could see which of my buildings had the most likes) so I hope to see people's current stuff. I sort interactions and buildings by last login date so if I miss your structure from an old playthrough, nothing personal of course. But my focus is going to be other players, their vehicles, structures, and so on.

I just got unforgettable emotions from this game and glad there are people who share my opinion. Already bought DS2 and waiting for the moment when I can do it too. So far, I want to share some screenshots that I made during my playthrough.

My ps5 broke at a point where repair is not possible. I was 60 hours deep in the game with around 200k likes. When i eventually get a new one will I have to play the game from the start. I'm pretty sure I havent uploaded anything on the ps cloud.

Also did 100% on DC and 2. Not including the PC version of 2 since it's the same as for console.

So I’m at like 3.85 stars with this guy I’ve done the standard orders already. I just did self order 112 for him even though it’s not for some reason still showing up in the thing, but I already got the social strand message from the animal shelter talking about it but like how do I get to four stars or five stars or whatever to get sub order 113 from him cause I really am doing this one cause I already beat the game so like I ain’t got nothing better to do and cause I really want the BT. I js don’t know what to do.

The Kotobukiya model kit of DHV Magellan is finally finished (some decals are missing). But it was my first time doing anything airbrush (or painting for that matter) related and i must say im quite happy with the result!

Does anyone know if there is anywhere in DS1 or DS2 where it explains diagetically how Higgs knows BB's theme? I know why he knows it (to torture Sam), but how did he learn it? Unless it is a common enough lullaby in their reality (which I don't recall anywhere making a point of that), how would Higgs know the lyrics, much less its significance to Sam. Did I miss something?

EDIT: For any furture searches of this particular question, the answer is "No, there is no explicitly stated reason how anyone other than Cliff and Sam know the lullaby"

The main theory for how it would happen diagetically is: Sam whistles and plays the lullaby on the harmonica in DS1, and sings it straight up to Lou between DS1 and DS2. Given the severely invasive nature of BRIDGES and APAS in recording everything, Sam singing the lullaby makes it into the public record. Higgs has direct access to APAS (and Diehardman has connections to BRIDGES, as well as knowing Cliff personally), so it is very plausible they both had access to the song and the context of what it means to Sam.

But the true answer, of course, is Kojima do what Kojima do. Don't be so serious...

First of all, I really enjoyed DS2. Maybe not quite as much as 1, but I’m actually not even sure, because DS2’s finale was just several hours of my jaw on the floor.

That said, my main critique of 2 is the BB gameplay. Stop here if you don’t want spoilers. This thread will likely be chock full of them.

One of my favorite parts of the first game was taking care of BB, and the fact that it had real gameplay consequences if you didn’t keep an eye on Lou’s status. I was hoping we would see this expanded on in 2, with all the complexities of taking care of a toddler while still trying to deliver.

Because Lou wouldn’t be in the pod, you’d have to make sure she was fed, clean, got a nap, etc. Maybe they thought that would get to complicated, but I felt like the BB care gameplay was a big part of what made DS1 so unique. It was an interesting bit of strangeness, hiding behind a rock and comforting a fetus while surrounded by sci-fi ghosts.

Anyone else have this feeling? What would you have wanted to see from BB gameplay in 2?

as much hour that i played on death stranding, i just hate about the rocks!! i hate rocks so much. hahaha but its makes me look for better route that i choose..
